Crashes multiple times
I have been playing Star Trek fleet command for 4 years the first 3 years that i played I didn’t really have any issues except players that can hit you are up to 5 times your level and there is nothing you can do inless you put a lot of money in this game like around $5,000 or more unfortunately I am disabled and live off a very tight budget so I can’t spend money as much so I have to grind everyday and in 4 years I have not miss a day losing in :) lol but this is not why I have a 2* view it’s bc on November 21 2021 a update came out and that update change everything my app crashes every single day sence then and it crashes a average around 25 to 30 times in a day and what really hurts is scopley dosnt care inless your spending thousands of dollars in this game bc I have written so many tickets at lease 30 or more sence November 2021 and I have tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling the game and cleared localization nothing works and all scopley said is we are aware of the issue bc we are working on other players with the same issues and that’s all I get nothing else’s but the same response every time I send a ticket. And now I’m just getting used to it crashing. And the game just crashes for no reason bc I’m just dealing with it now but it’s so frustrating at time especially during events and takeovers bc during a TC takeover or defence in territories as soon as I go to hit a player to help defend our alliance Territory my app will just closed no warring and it dose it every single time as i go to hit a player or just viewing a system my app will just closed. And I even sent scopley video of this happening and still my games has not been fixed I used a iPad 6 th gen but if I used my galaxy S8 Active I have no issues but I can’t play on that to well bc I’m getting older and my eye sight isn’t getting better but that’s life. Anyways my point is that in my opinion I don’t think scopley cares inless your spending a lot of money in this game and it is pay to play but you can grind everyday and believe me it takes a very long time to move forward in this game. But it’s Star Trek and I’m a big fan I just wish this game was like the original pc Star Trek fleet command that came out on pc in 1995 that would be amazing if it could be like that lol. So my advice to you is if your wanting to play this star fleet command and it is alot of fun but make sure your device works well on this game or you will find yourself having major issues trying to play. STFC
Latest update as usual glitches galore. In my up to date iPad it Reach’s 61% on loading screen and stops. No problem I’m getting sick of the constant scrolling to retrieve the daily “gifts” necessary to keep going. Collect something and the screen jumps back to the start so you have to scroll through all of it again to get the next item. Scrollpely web store is just the same too. Everything eventually costs $99.99 in the store and gets you nowhere. If you’re looking for Star Trek this is not what you want. It looks like it but the greed and glitches ruin everything. It says it is 354 megabytes but it is well over 3.45 Gigabytes at level 50 and Scrollpely/Digit has so much personalized content that the game doesn’t play well.
Don’t waste your time or effort trying to play this game. They only care about your wallet and how much they can get out of it.

Can’t get my old account
I use to love this game because it was good but a year later when I lost that iPad with the game (and Game Center witch held the account) I started a new account and linked it with my Game Center but did not switch to my old account, leaving me without my old account that I worked super hard for. THIS NEEDS TO FIX AND CHANGED!!!

Greedy Developers
The prices for the package as are high a MN d what is worse is I pur cc hased a package and during the purchase the game locked up and when I restarted the game my credit card was charged but I didn't receive the package.

Hi, this is Overlord8112 in Starfleet, I like the combat and I like the exploring, but can you make an icon or something that will show me all my quest that I can take in the Romlun star Empire without me having to go to every damn planet just to look for it and also I would like to have the characters to actually have a voice when the mission thing comes up including the AI.

Nearly 6 years invested, and I can no longer recommend Star Trek Fleet Command
I’ve played Star Trek Fleet Command for almost six years, which gives me a fair perspective on how the game has evolved.
For context:
* Operations Level: 56
* Station Strength: 2,808,164,472
* Player Power: 226,825,455
I’ve reached the point where my progression has effectively stalled. Unless I spend huge amounts of money, I’m simply waiting months for officers, research or content that actually moves my account forward.
And yes, I have spent money on this game over the years. I didn’t expect everything for free. But the value for money has become laughably poor. The amount you have to spend compared with the tiny amount of progression you receive is completely out of proportion. The return on investment is now so small that I can no longer justify spending another penny.
One of the biggest disappointments is that after six years of loyalty, the rewards are frankly insulting. Daily events, milestone rewards and event payouts are nowhere near enough for players at my level. Veteran players should be rewarded for their commitment, not left grinding endlessly for scraps.
I also choose not to join an alliance anymore because of the constant politics, drama, egos and obligations. A mobile game shouldn’t feel like a second job where you’re expected to be online at specific times just to keep up.
The monetisation has become relentless. Every update seems to introduce another expensive pack while progression becomes slower and slower. Loyalty means very little when the solution to every obstacle is simply “spend more.”
The gameplay has become:
* Endless grinding.
* Endless waiting.
* Poor rewards.
* Increasing paywalls.
* Very little meaningful progression.
If you’re considering starting STFC today, understand that it’s a game that can consume thousands of hours. When you finally reach the higher levels, you’ll discover that progress slows to a crawl unless you’re willing to spend significant amounts of money.
I don’t regret the friends I’ve made or the enjoyment I got from the early years, but if I knew then what I know now, I honestly wouldn’t start again.
Scopely needs to stop treating long-term players as an endless source of revenue and start rewarding loyalty. After almost six years, I simply cannot recommend investing your time or your money in Star Trek Fleet Command.

I’ve never played a game where they introduce new stuff and don’t fix broken stuff. If they would just fix what’s broken first, for 1 month, the game would become more playable!! The new content updates just make it more complicated and lack enjoyment. The new territories are that example. It’s nuts.

This makes it difficult for those who really can’t afford to pay to play. Certain events, where materials are needed to advance are not easy to accomplish.

Mega Lag and Bugs…plus pay$$$ to play
Constant bugs and lag that hasn’t been fixed, for years…wasting your time. Also be willing to pay $100 for a decent pack, just to start. Spend thousands just to keep up. $$$ based events, too.
Don’t confuse this with a PVP game.
This is a mining game and a Pay2Win game. Most bundles are $99 - $20 in the US. After you reach 6* resources your game changes a lot and very little time is spent actually playing the game as you have to open lots of chests and bundles for your rewards. The Open All buttons seldom work, and if you do happen to get an Open All button to work you do not get all the items you would expect if opening one by one. The game’s Bug Team probably got fired because they don’t fix bugs, they just replace them with content that is still buggy. To upgrade your station above 59 you could spend 100 years or pay to get through it faster just to get to 60. Research also no longer works as intended, he bugs are astounding and you are forced to click through all research to see if you can upgrade because the last 3 patches broke this part of the game and has yet to be fixed.
Advice: Stay Clear of this game, save your money for food and fuel.

Unplayable… there’s a long list of bugs. Every time there’s an update it comes with new bugs and lag.

Progress is Punished
This game is fun, based on beloved IP, and pretty engaging but at a certain level (low 40s for me) it becomes very difficult to progress and unlock various “loops” (stories, regions of space, and ship blueprints) to the point where one can tire of the repetitive daily goals and feel that participating with more advanced level players isn’t a realistic goal in the medium term. Also the game is haunted by bullies who don’t respect the “Rules of Engagement,” even if you chat on the server and ask for mercy, this sort of action has only made bullies more eager to target my low level miners. If there were ways to opt out of these flaws and keep the gameplay more consistent I would consider re-rating.

If you want to play the game that’s fine but just to make you aware they have now only made the game for level 60s and above well level 61 and above anyone below that level gets none of the updates gets none of the upgrades and none of the ships we’re basically on a ghost server until we hit 61 to any of these new upgrades you see on there you are not going to get until you get to level 61

Gets worse with every release
Been playing since covid, and after reaching L63, I think it’s time to call it a day.. shame as it used to be enjoyable.. every update brings more grind and more and more elements bring gameplay to its knees. I heard one more advanced than me saying it hasn’t been phone game for ages… you need a beefy PC now… so defeats the object for me…

This game continues to have technical problems that make it a pain to play. Most of the offers are $99.99 USD, hardly reflective of the quality of the game. Scopely is either incapable or unwilling to fix the issues. I am sick and tired of the problems on iOS and PC. Avoid this game, very little value for time invested. It is a cash grab pure and simple. The 4.1 rating is a lie.
