Overdrive, where you can find it. The game's best move was hidden behind a two-finger tap nobody knew about. There's now a lightning button whenever the meter is full, and the HUD spells out what it does until you've used one. The gesture still works if you prefer it. A real difficulty curve. Spawn pressure used to stop rising about two minutes in, enemy health capped out, and boss health never moved at all — so a strong build deleted bosses before they ever showed you their best patterns. All three ceilings are gone. Bosses and elites now scale with how deep you are, and each boss picks a defense that counters your current weapon mod, so what you're carrying actually matters. Firepower is a window, not a floor. Overcharge holds, then bleeds away — and every timed buff now shows its countdown, so you can see what you're about to lose instead of guessing. One more run. RETRY is now a button on the end-of-run screen, so you can go straight back in without a trip through the hangar. Comfort settings. Reduce screen shake and reduce flashing, both following iOS Reduce Motion until you say otherwise. Also fixed: the boss health bar no longer sits on top of your score, the run-summary grade no longer overlaps the score line, and the unlock price now shows in your own currency instead of always in pounds.
