Exactly what I needed
Works for me, but I only use my own local library.
I’ve been looking for so long for a star rating widget since the one I was using got depreciated.

Major Bugs
I had a good experience using this app to easily access Music star ratings.
That is, until I opened the app, changed one rating, and ALL of my ratings for EVERY song changed.
Fortunately, I had a backup of my library. But holy cow that was unnerving.
Dev responded saying they’d look into it but never seemed to have updated the app since. It’s been two years now.

Doesn’t do what it says on the tin.
Stars do not sync back to Apple Music on any other devices.
Unreliable, and will unintentionally rate unplayed songs
I tried this app well over a year ago and had a deal breaking issue. I couldn’t tie the issue to the Startone app, so I abstained from writing a review. After deleting the app over a year ago, fixing my ratings, reinstalling the app today (newer version), and listening to and rating a couple songs stored locally on my iPhone… I can unequivocally state that this app is the culprit. It rated songs I hadn’t even listed to. Additionally, it changed songs’ ratings that I’d methodically managed over the past 20+ years.
To fix the damage caused, I had to remove this app, synch my iPhone to my library, restart the iPhone, fix the ratings that this app broke (redundantly stored as text “***” in songs’ Comment tag), then re-synch.
If you actually care about keeping song ratings, my recommendation is to proceed with caution with this app. It is buggy/unstable at best, or worse… poorly designed. Either way, it can’t be trusted.

Fixing the things Apple won’t
Finally! I can’t believe the Apple Watch has come 8 generations without the ability to rate the songs like you can on every other one of their devices. Big thanks to the developer for creating this!
