Very convenient calculator
I appreciate the instant calculator to approximate the amount of yarn that would be needed for a project. Very much helps to use up my stash. The only quibble is that I wish there was a version for the iPad. But that's just a quibble. Over all, this is an excellent calculator.

Super Helpful
Picture this, you find the yarn of your dreams. You know you want a cardigan but don’t have a pattern selected. With this app you can go ahead and buy the yarn and be very much in the ballpark of what you’ll need. You’ll find a pattern later.

At My Fingertips
Being a yarn addict, I’m always looking at a new skien or ball somewhere and wondering how much I’d need to make a (fill in the blank). This little app is my constant companion for a quick calc on that. Great for a general—and in my experience—pretty accurate guesstimate of yardage needed. Love it!

Quick and simple to use
Been using this app for years. Perfect for figuring out yarn amounts when I have no pattern in mind but love a particular yarn. Or if a pattern doesn’t include the information.
