What's New in StatementSnap

1.2

August 23, 2026

StatementSnap 1.2 adds Transfer Match Review for multi-account statement batches. Likely transfers must have exact-cent, opposite-sign amounts, come from different accounts and source statements, and fall within three calendar days. A pair is suggested only when each row is the other's unique best match; ambiguous groups fail closed. Approve or reject each suggestion explicitly. Approved pairs remain in every export and in the original money-in, money-out, net, and reconciliation totals. A separate operating summary excludes only confirmed transfer pairs so cash movement is not double-counted. Decisions automatically become stale when row or source evidence changes. Bookkeeping CSV, Excel, JSON, Conversion Proof, and audit outputs can carry the confirmed pair evidence. Standard bank and accounting interchange exports continue to preserve the original rows.

StatementSnap saved me hours of manual work. I dropped in my bank statement PDF and got a clean Excel file in seconds. What impressed me most was that everything stays on my Mac—no uploads, no accounts, and no privacy concerns. If you regularly work with bank or credit card statements, this is a huge time saver.
