Regulation turtle follower here. This is a great app and a wonderful way to promote conservation.

I think it’s nice but a lot of the turtles have not been updated for 6 years! I think if there not getting updated there tracker should disconnect and they should not be on the app anymore.

Hi Eliza, Yes there are many turtles that are no longer tracking. We have been tracking sea turtles since 2000, so we do remove really old turtles. We are looking into a way to archive the older turtle tracks so they are still available, but don't get in the way of the actively tracked turtles.

Feature request
I adopted a turtle for my wife's birthday and was surprised the app does not allow us to favorite this Turtle. It would be a nice improvement to the UI.

Interesting & cool app, but some suggestions
I really like this app, it’s cool to see the information given about each turtle and how you can see the active tracking taking place for them. I think some suggestions I would give is 1. To see bigger photos of the turtles once you tap their name and see their information (I know there are the small photos when you view turtles by name, and that you could get a closer look by going on STC’s website— but also having photos in the app through the turtle’s information page where you could possibly zoom in and get a better look would be nice.) 2. Being able to “favorite” or make a list of turtles you want to keep track of. Thank you!

i love the app! they have such cute names and i enjoy seeing what they are up to but i hate that the app glitches when i click on a turtle on the “by name” section and the picture disappears. i wanna see what they look like but i can’t because it messes up!
