About

Stealth-O turns your iPhone into a terrain mapping tool for orienteering. Create a Place for a real terrain, choose a reliable anchor point, and start collecting the GPS and elevation data that builds your map. Each recording begins and ends at the same physical spot, giving Stealth-O a stable reference for aligning sessions, correcting drift, and improving the result over time. Walk the area, save the recording, and let Stealth-O process the data automatically. Relief overlays reveal contour lines, hills, depressions, ridges, and valleys as your coverage grows. Guidance highlights the parts of the terrain that need more attention, so every next walk has a purpose. Built for practical field work: - Create dedicated Places for forests, parks, and trail networks - Record GPS and relative elevation data while you walk - Start and finish at an anchor point for more consistent mapping - Use Readiness checks for GPS accuracy, distance to anchor, map access, and sharing - Watch Relief and Guidance update as recordings are added - Share Places so multiple mappers can contribute to the same map - Keep recording data safely until it can upload again Stealth-O also includes Event Tools for race day. Find nearby stations and wristbands, use your iPhone as a station when needed, download recorded wristband sessions, and connect results back to routes on the web. From the first walk in an unmapped forest to the final event workflow, Stealth-O helps mappers and organizers build useful orienteering terrain data one recording at a time.
