Not yet fixed
Despite the previous reviews about bugs, I decided to purchase the game, on the chance that it had been fixed. It hasn’t. What little I have played of the story is intriguing. Unfortunately, I reached a point where I received a “passage does not exist” message. Because no other options were available, that game came to a premature end (exiting and restarting only brought me back to that error message). Also, items and code words are sometimes not added to the character sheet. That such errors have not been addressed, even after many months, is concerning. Shoddy work from the dev. Evidently, the app has been abandoned.

Cool but buggy
Seems like it’d be really fun, but is glitchy. Codes I find aren’t being saved and continuity in many story lines is broken.
The Following Passage Doesn’t Exist
What I’ve played so far the game is pretty fun but it’d be better if I don’t get stuck in areas cause “The Following Passage Doesn’t Exist.
Too glitchy to really enjoy
I like the idea of this, it’s clear a lot of passion has been put into this, but it just hasn’t been made fun to play. There’s a lot of glitches (getting charged when you haven’t bought anything at pubs and shops, the whole recovering wounds process is so janky regardless of which method you try, the map not updating, getting locked out of pub rooms). Quests are hard to track (game gives you no help) and if you don’t make progress in the way you thought you had to you’re stuck. The movement is hard to follow, as the map has roads you can’t go down so trying to get to particular destination involves weird roundabout routes as you try to navigate. Some places you just end up in a loop for a bit because logically, going south shouldn’t mean you go south and then north immediately but it does. There’s little robbing in this game and it’s a terrible way to get money anyway, as unless you start of with good nimbleness every combat is impossible and when you lose you lose all your money (and don’t even get healed for it).
Most of this game is just riding around, hoping to collect code words from random events so you can hopefully advance some kind of plot. It might be interesting to chart it all out, I guess, but it feels too punishing to play without external help. Maybe that appeals to some people, but it doesn’t much to me.
That said, I think the idea is cool and I got to murder a judge, it just needs to be tested and fixed and some gameplay tweaks/changes.
