What's New in Step Gazelle

1.2

September 24, 2026

Meet your gazelle! Every gazelle now has a name. Keep the one it came with, roll a new one, or type your own. You can change it anytime in Settings, and your gazelle cheers you on by name in your notifications. Tap your gazelle on Today and it blows hearts back. Simpler step counting: if more than one app or device records your steps, StepGazelle now uses whichever one counted the most that day. You no longer rank your sources, and a day's count can only go up. Trends shows which source counted each day. Also in this update: - Today's goal now goes up if your tracker syncs yesterday's steps late - The Trends M chart now shows the same 30 days your daily goal is based on (previously was missing one day) - If one Apple device records your steps, the app now calls it by name, like "from your iPhone"
