MedMate is a gentle, easy-to-read medication reminder built for older adults — and anyone who wants to stay on track with their medicines. Add a medication in seconds: scan the prescription label with your camera, or type it in. MedMate then reminds you at the right times every day, kept within your waking hours. EASY TO USE — LEAST WORK ONCE IT'S SET UP Set it up once, then MedMate does the remembering. Recording anything is quick and comfortable: spin a dial or tap plus and minus — the keyboard almost never appears. Each new reading even starts filled in with your last value (or a normal starting point), so it's just a small nudge, not a blank form. Text and buttons grow as large as you like, and nothing gets cut off. WHAT YOU GET • Quick, no-keyboard entry — spin a dial or tap + / − for every number; new readings start pre-filled • A big, clear daily checklist, grouped into Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Night • Large check-off circles — tap when you take a dose • Flexible schedules: every day, certain weekdays, every other day, every 3rd day, weekly, or monthly • Combination pills — list each ingredient in one medicine • Drug Sets: group pills you take together (like "Morning pills") and check the whole group off in one tap • Reminders that gently repeat until you check the dose off (you choose how often) • A reminder tone and a color you can pick for each medicine • Snap a photo of each pill — lifted onto your color and rotatable — so it's easy to recognize • Refill reminders before a medicine runs low • A Metrics tab to record your numbers — blood pressure, temperature, weight, blood sugar, oxygen, pain, and how you feel (1–10) — each on its own screen with its full history you can edit or delete • Note a problem with a pill in a tap — pick from common reactions or ones reported for that drug • A simple interaction check that flags known pairs, with links to the Drugs.com checker and FDA label info • A History tab: everything you've recorded, by day, with a filter to show just what you want • Share or print a clean PDF — your profile, medication list, and health readings — for a doctor or family member, and lock it with a password if you like • Back up everything to a file and restore it on a new phone — with an optional reminder so you don't forget • A hands-on walkthrough and a written guide, so it's easy to learn PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your medications, history, health log, photos and profile are stored only on your device. No account, no sign-up, and we don't collect your data. When you verify a drug name or check interactions, only the medicine's name is sent to public medical databases (U.S. NIH RxNorm and the FDA's openFDA) to look up information — it isn't stored or shared by us. IMPORTANT MedMate is a reminder tool only. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. The interaction and drug-info checks are general and may be incomplete. Always check what you enter against the printed label, and confirm anything important with your pharmacist or doctor. Reminders may not arrive if your device is off, muted, or has notifications turned off — always keep a backup way to track doses.
