I really wanted this to work
I was so excited to find this app at first! Off the bat, it boasts 3 styles of widgets- photo, text over photo and check list over a photo of your choice.
The app allows you to choose from your own library of photos or brows an incredible amount of gorgeous stock photos to end up with a very professional looking widget.
I have played with this app for a week on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, on iOS 14.4.1.
It’s almost a perfect app, though there are some things that could be changed to make it work properly.
1. Like you cannot edit the check lists- so that’s lame. You can check and uncheck them but you cannot edit the list text. Meaning, one of my 3 available widgets offered through this app is completely unusable.
2. I can’t make a new widget from scratch, rather- I have to edit a pre-done widget by switching out the photo and words. This is frustrating when the first widget loaded to the top when you download the app says- “start here”. You can start there and be frustrated the picture never loads through the peach background color. Though, the background color and text can be edited, you cannot get a picture to load.
3. The widget doesn’t save the text same as what’s displayed in the editor. Rather, the word layer is much larger when saved, making the words on the edges disappear on my Home Screen but not in the widget editor. So I have to save it and check to see I can still read all the words on the finished and installed widget. I don’t want to spend this much time checking, and rechecking the finished widget against the finish one shown in the app. This alone makes me not want to share this app with my friends and family.
4. A few personal requests besides the glitches listed above would be to allow the user to add a scalable opacity for a color layer over the picture so the text is easier to read. It could fill the screen or have different shapes that lay between the photo and text. Also the ability to add shading or color outline to the text would help with readability.
I would love if the app could tap into all the fonts I have loaded on my phone.
It would be really amazing if you could change the font size manually. So I would have the ability to have a title word with smaller text below or to the side instead of scaling all the words to be smaller as you type.

Broken
First of all I purchased the lifetime plan and I’m unable to do anything within the app. I’m still getting ads and unable to make widgets. I’ve tried to delete and download again but the problem still persists. Could I please receive a refund? Thank you!
