Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Sticky Widgets at none against Note Reminder & Sticky Note's shown. Sticky Widgets also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months) and rating (4.1 vs 3.7). Note Reminder & Sticky Note's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Note Reminder & Sticky Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sticky Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Sticky Widgets holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Widgets has 66 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Note Reminder & Sticky Note's written reviews are positive against 33% of Sticky Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Note Reminder & Sticky Note ships an update every 4 months, Sticky Widgets every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
