About

StimTiles is a calm, no-pressure sensory space — a whole toy box of quiet activities a child can tap, swipe, and settle into at their own pace. It was built by a dad for his autistic son, and shaped around one idea: stimming is a healthy way to self-regulate, so give it a safe, beautiful place to happen. There are no timers, no scores, and no way to "lose." Nothing nags, rushes, or interrupts. Just open something calming and stay as long as it feels good. — MORE THAN TWO DOZEN THINGS TO DO — Relaxing modes for open-ended sensory play: • Kaleidoscope, Ripple, and Drift — tap and watch color bloom and cascade • Breathing — a slow, guided breathing exercise, as long or short as you like • Soundscape — every color plays its own gentle tone • Bubble Pop, Squish, Snow Globe, Chime, Fireworks, and more Gentle games for kids who like a little structure: • Matching Game, Memory Path, Color Sort, Mosaic, Trace, and others • A quiet sense of accomplishment — a warm "Congrats," never a score to beat Support for the hard moments, too: • Calm-Down Routines — short, guided sequences (breathe, then a calming mode, then wind all the way down) with no choices to make in between • A quick Communication Board — tap to say "I need a break," "Too loud," "Help me," "All done," and other core phrases when words are hard • Low Arousal Mode — one switch dials the whole app down: softer motion, quieter sound, calmer everything — TUNE IT TO YOUR CHILD — Every child's senses are different, so almost everything is adjustable: • Turn animations, sounds, and haptics on or off — or dial haptic strength • Light or dark appearance • A visual timer and gentle session limits, if transitions are hard • Grid sizes from tiny to large to match attention and motor needs • A parent PIN to keep settings locked down — MAKE IT THEIRS — Personalization is where a lot of kids fall in love with StimTiles. Choose from dozens of tile shapes (weather, space, ocean, animals, hearts, and more), color sets, calming sound packs, and Home Screen app icons. A few are included free; the rest are small one-time unlocks — buy just the one your child loves, or a themed bundle. There's also a Tip Jar if you'd like to support development. — KIND, HONEST, AND SAFE — StimTiles is free to start, with no ads at all — nothing to interrupt or distract, ever. Optional cosmetic unlocks are there if you want them, never required. Your settings, progress, and purchases stay on your device. No account, no login, no sign-up. StimTiles is a calming sensory play tool, not medical or therapeutic treatment. It's simply a quiet, flexible, screen-time-you-feel-good-about place — for an autistic or ADHD child, a sensory seeker, or anyone who just wants to fidget with color and breathe for a minute.

What's New in StimTiles

1.1

August 9, 2026

Kids Mode improvements • A big Back/Home bar along the bottom — much easier for small hands to reach. • Relaxing Games and Puzzles can now be reordered, and your order is shared with the main lists. Smoother, more reliable play • Fixed a stutter that could drop tiles during fast swipes — tapping and swiping now stay responsive. • Audio now recovers properly after a phone call, alarm, or switching apps. • Fixed the missing reference preview in Mosaic. Plus a large under-the-hood cleanup across all 21 modes for better performance and stability.
