App Immediately Crashes

After the latest iOS update today, the app crashes when I launch it and I have 12 devices that I can no longer use. Nice…

No alerts

These devices do not send alerts to my iPhone. All alerts methods activated on phone and app. Useless unless you are within earshot of water sensor. Basically useless.

Very poor customer support

They have poor customer support for the app and devices.

Great!…but

I have been using the Stitch devices by Monoprice for a long time. Years. I have a variety of these modules in service. I’ll have to replace one now and then, but not so often as to be a problem. Every thing has a lifetime. Add electricity and then expect a little higher frequency. Again, not so often as to be a problem. I truly recommend them.

The Stitch software makes the devices very configurable, and it is very easy to use. That’s not the case with a lot of the other apps in this category. The only shortfall for me is it does not yet support Apple’s Home or Matter. This means I have to unnecessarily use two different environmental control apps.

Does not work

Seems to no longer be supported. Every attempt to pair fails.

Completely useless app when you need it, you session expired!? I have the other home automation apps, and none does this crap. Avoid this junk.

They do what they’re supposed to do

They do what they are supposed to do. They haven’t failed us yet.

Ease of use

Great products, very simple platform, very satisfied

Not ready for prime time

I have several stitch/Monoprice smart devices. I can’t get it to recognize the robovac. Also, switches lose connectivity and programming from time to time. Quite a headache to have to reprogram and connect. Supposed to make life easier but i think I spend more time fiddling with the app and smart devices. I have better things to do with my time. Normally, I’m very impressed with Monoprice products but not these.

Smart light bulb—Not smart

We ordered a smart light bulb. I’ve used other brands successfully. The app is useless. Instructions for pairing say to turn it on and off until the reset power button blinks. Really? It’s a lightbulb. No reset. No power button. This from the app that includes icons as well as labels for selecting the correct device set up instructions. Complete fail.

Pretty good, could be better

I’m only using this app fo a couple of smart plugs, to control floor lamps. While the Automation option, with the ability to trigger actions on sunset/sunrise are nice, they’d be better if you could add/subtract some offset time from sunrise/sunset (and maybe also allow a few minutes of random variation round the trigger time)

Use Tuya instead

This app is garbage and isn’t being updated anymore. Won’t auto detect my smart switch. All Stitch is just white labeled Tuya, even the app. The Tuya app connects to Stitch electronics (and works well).

Absolutely doesn’t work

The power went out and the stitch stop workingTry resetting it nothings worked very frustrated if you can send an update and fix this problem would appreciate it otherwise I’m gonna have to get another product waste my money on never use your side again to buy anything!!

Yo

The app works and that manes me happy

Push notifications do not work

Pointless without them.

Needs work

Alerts stopped coming through after latest iOS update. Worked ok before that, though the timing on automations was slow.

Terrible App Terrible Bugs

The automation is useless because it only works with the app actually open and I stopped receiving notifications altogether after 2 weeks of owning their device. Pairing the devices doesn’t work most of the time either.

Very disappointed in the interface!

I wish I could attach a screenshot of the iPhone screen "Today Ele (KWh)" tab for my "Wireless Smarty Plug Pro with Energy Monitoring & Reporting" device. I was going to use this instead of a Kill-A-Watt for inspecting power draw of devices. I thought that with a full color retina display they could show me better info than a 10 year old device. They show FAR LESS. Every number is labeled with a few characters followed by … and that takes up about 5% of the screen. THE REST OF THE SCREEN IS BLANK! It's not that they didn't have the room. It's like no one ever tried the interface after it was made. It doesn't even have units of measure! I recognize the 119.3 as being volts, but the 546, 62.3, and 0.00 I don't know.

Monoprice Stitch is a great product

Much more stable than Phillips Hue. The smart wall sockets are fantastic.
