Not the best app out there
The extra steps that have been added just to save an image are completely unnecessary, especially when you’ve made it significantly easier to print directly from the app. It feels like basic functionality is being made more complicated while printing continues to receive update after update.
Honestly, how many people are actually using this app primarily to print? I would much rather see that development time go toward updated fonts, better design tools, a more intuitive user interface, and more advanced features—especially features that competing computer-based software already offers.
The app has so much potential, but it feels like the focus is in the wrong place. Instead of continuing to optimize printing, I’d love to see the developers focus on what this software could actually become if they prioritized the design experience and brought the app closer to its full potential.
I love it with one request
Best cross stitching app out there
Folders
Needs some work..
I’m currently using printed patterns right now and drawing lines is how I currently keep track, so this app isn't an upgrade from that unfortunately.
I’m referring to a pdf pattern i've uploaded by the way, in case that for some reason makes any difference.
Love it!
love the app! Suggestions with pixel photos and tag system
My issue is that photos that are already in pixel format are hard to line up and copy correctly. I have a bunch of pixel art I would love to turn into designs but it’s hard to do it with your automated pattern creator and I just end up doing it all by hand anyway. Which is annoying and time consuming when the pieces are big. I don’t know if there is a way to line up photo grid with your system that I am missing…
Also have you thought about making your tagging system when you can add bins or folders or drop down menus? My tags can get pretty long when I’m doing subsets of subsets. Ex piece has a turkey in it, so I tag it at: object - animal- bird - turkey. I don’t know if that’s just me and my love of categories though.

Thank you for your feedback and kind words - we're really glad you're enjoying Stitchly! To convert an image to exact pixels, the image size must match the pattern size. For example, an image that is 100 x 100 pixels will be converted exactly when the pattern size is set to 100 x 100. At a pixel level, images are often much larger than they look. You can see what size your image file is in the app by pressing the JPEG/PNG button on the first screen of the process (opposite the crop button). Regarding the tags, you can assign multiple tags to a single pattern. In your example, you would create separate tags for 'Object', 'Animal', 'Bird' and 'Turkey', and then assign your turkey pattern to all of those tags. When filtering by a given tag, your turkey pattern would then show in each of those tags. To select multiple tags for a given pattern: go to the home screen > press and hold a pattern > press 'Tags'. We hope that helps :)

Still loving the app but have a request
Only one issue
Unable to access on multiple devices
The redundancy is ridiculous. I love the app, but I’m disappointed in its limited availability through other devices.
Don’t buy this for painting patterns unless you’re willing to gamble on quality.
Also, the pop up. Christ. 100,000 lines of code and you can’t code a painting app to not kick you out half the time when you accidentally trigger the popup?
Génial !
