• Simpler tab names — My News, Trending, Top Stories and Topics. Easier to tell apart at a glance, and on iPhone they no longer overlap each other. • Today's brief gets straight to the news. The tip about voices is now a single line you can tap whenever you want it. • The Listen button is easier to spot, so it's obvious when you'd rather listen than read. • When a story is about a single company, its ticker now sits on the same line as the source and time, instead of alone underneath. • Nicer on iPad — Top Stories opens on the top story instead of an empty panel, cards line up neatly side by side, and the story you're reading is highlighted gently rather than in a heavy block of colour. • Kinder to bigger text — labels that used to break across two lines at larger text sizes now stay whole. • Tidier buttons throughout, and the filter button now tells you which filter is switched on.
