Love the new features of multi-account menu!
Won’t give back money or return emails
Thought I’d give Stockspot a go. Deposited $100 to start off with as I wanted to see the app functionality and dashboard. Found out $500 is minimum to buy in so I emailed asking for my money back at this stage. It’s been months, multiple emails and NO ONE has responded. If you can’t reply to a simple email, I can’t trust you investing my money.
I’ll take this further if you do not respond and fail to refund my $100.

Slow since last update
Love this app but since last update the bottom menu has been slow and somewhat unresponsive since the last update
App keeps crashing.
This app seems pretty good but when trying to access some functions the app crashes and comes up with a blank screen. The only way I can bring the app back up is to turn off turn on device.
Has never fully worked
I chose Stockspot over competitors largely because of the app. But it’s never fully worked for me. First it wasn’t displaying anything because it hadn’t acknowledge my deposits; now it crashes every time I try to check cash transactions. It’s really ruined the whole experience and I’ll consider taking my money out when I make up for current losses.

Hidden exit fees
They claim to charge no hidden fees but if you try to transfer your stocks out they will charge upwards of $150 for the privilege even though their marketing material repeatedly advertises no fees (other than their monthly fee). How can false advertising like this even be allowed?

We're sorry if anything was unclear. HIN transfers do incur a separate administration fee to our normal Stockspot fees. You can refer to the fees section in our FSG here. Genuinely satisfied
I do not rate many apps but as a young investor who is quite passive in this field, I find this app incredibly detailed and easy to use. I simply do not have time to invest myself and the personal portfolios that they provide align with my financial goals. If you are thinking of investing I would recommend Stockspot a great place to start.
Also, I started investing at the end of last year and saw my account only go negative by a few hundred dollars. Stockspot re invested through covid and I am again back on track with promising returns.
Overall very happy with the Stockspot team.

The best way to embark on your investing journey. Stockpot app is user friendly. They have great customer service too. I have recommended it to friends and they love stockpot just as much as I do.

A great app that shows all the information I need, is very easy to use and gives me quick access to my portfolio. Had no problems with it all and saves me having to access the web version when I am on the go.

The app is very user friendly. I have had a good experience with Stockspot so far and a pretty good return on investment. I have been using stock spot for about 5 years now. It’s basically a set and forget system you don’t have to do anything once your account is set up.

Not going to lie, I was pretty bummed when I first got this app (maybe a year ago). I even emailed to request some features. I am so so so happy that Stockspot listened to its customers and actually invested into the mobile app! The recent overhaul has made a huge difference! Well done Stockspot team!
