Online Stockton record

I really enjoy reading the Record on line at first I didn’t think I would. But it has been nice and clean. Thank you.

Satisfactory alternative to daily newspaper

The rule is ePaper on Saturday. It’s okay, app displays pages fine, format looks like the paper version. Been reading papers for 70 years so takes getting used to it.
Ability to zoom in is a plus. Trying to decide if I want to save $$ and go to ePaper only. What will happen to staff however.

Easy to use

It took a few days but now the Record app is very good and easy to access and use.

Awesome

Love the record!

Need local reporting

Everyday in the edition there is a “Tell us what to write about!” I have written several times to request an article on how Measure M funds are being spent.

Yesterday I was happy to find photos of the construction of the new Northeast library. But each photo repeated the same ONE PARAGRAPH description. It had no background information, or did not include what other ways the taxpayer money is being spent.

It is irresponsible to not follow up on this bond. It is very disappointing to me that there seems to be no local reporting. Is Clifford Otto the only reporter left??

I emailed you some background Information and look forward to a full article about the Measure M Strong Community initiative that was voted for by our town.

Thank you.

Regular problems

Ever since we began the digital subscription over a year ago, a week doesn’t go by without a problem. The problems are all over the board…..with Missing editions, pages cut off and pages missing being the biggest recurring problems.
If you have a problem, don’t bother emailing customer service. It took them 2 weeks to respond when we reported we had no access to the paper after paying our subscription.

The record- electricity is great

Stay in the know while getting inspired about our San Joaquin valley! Take the electric copy of the paper and stay up to date so you may stay involved! I hope they post the calendar of meetings for our school boards and government working too!

Slowly improving

Not the easiest app to use but once you get it figured out and set up the way you like it, it works. Big improvement over the last couple years!

Larger print size

I greatly appreciate the ability to enlarge the print size .... it makes reading so much easier.... I read the Record on an iPad

Buggy

Pages go blank while loading. Frequently the app quits on its own while advancing a page. Currently the app no longer loads any edition. The contact email returns a “recipient unknown” response. The entire thing needs to be reworked and upgraded.
By someone that knows what they are doing; I would suggest the Record look at apps by the S.F. Chronicle, Washington Post, NY Times, or a slew of other newspapers to see how good the experience can be.

Not loading

Please update your app. As of 3/13/21 I cannot load the digital paper. The menu loads but when I click the one I want to read I get a blank screen.

Not upgraded for iPad Pro larger screen

This app needs to be upgrade for iPad Pro 11 inch screen size.
