Don’t Bother (it’s getting worse)
Don’t bother with this app the news is usually old, can be found on other sites (for free) and on other occasions doesn’t even relate to North Staffordshire. They limit the number of articles you can view each week just to try and make you take out an expensive subscription.

Too many stories locked in by premium subscription, I think it’s diabolical that a local news app is charging to read up on what’s happing around people’s own neighbourhood. Shame on you, you could use ads to generate money not the people of Stoke on Trent’s wallets.
Glad to see Sentinel name back BUT reporting content not worthy of paid subscription.
Depressingly poor ‘local’ reporting from reporters not from the area. Weirdly obsessed with calling locals Stokies (no-one local does) and doesn’t understand the Sentinel newspaper and online brand remit used to be stories in North Staffs and South Cheshire. Key areas are now overlooked and forgotten - notably Newcastle under Lyme. Poor reporting, not worthy of a subscription.

Decided to delete the app for what use it is. The sentinel was bad enough when you could view it for free but £4.99 a month is a joke
