The materials and techniques used by Stone Island to apply color are truly unique & create beautifully new but always functional clothing, as years of research with novel textiles & newly devised methods to apply dyes & pigment alongside the numerous resins & other additives they deploy to color different garments all uniquely affect the feel & appearance of the final fabrics used to construct their clothes... due to the way these new techniques & color formulations allow for extremely unique applications of color & resultant uptake across the wide range of materials used for the base textiles Stone Island builds its pieces from.

Their clothing truly blends the pinnacle of modern material & technology with the age-old vision & craft only a visionary designer & skilled human hands could ever produce.
