The gift that worked one time
I purchased the Storypod as a Christmas present for my three kids. I was so excited! We used it once before it quit working. I reached out to the company and after sending all the information, plus videos, and screenshots the Storypod team decided my unit was defective and a replacement was sent out. I received a used replacement unit, which I agreed to, but it also had the same issue. It only worked one time and then never turned on again. I repeated the process of talking to Storypod support again and another used unit was sent to me. Guess what happened….it also did not work. After receiving the third faulty and unusable Storypod I kindly requested a refund. Are you ready for the best part. I had to send pictures, purchase dates, and jump through all the hoops AGAIN only to be ghosted by the company. Now I have three Storypods that DO NOT work plus approximately fifteen crafties that are completely useless. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend using Storypod or purchasing anything from this company. Poor customer service
My Storypod stopped working and I was seeing a blinking white light and was unable to troubleshoot the problem. After submitting a message to Storypod I never heard back and have been unable to get in contact with anyone.
Slow ineffective customer service
I got a Storypod as a gift for Christmas along with a few of the recordable stickers that my family recorded on and it worked a couple weeks then stopped working out of nowhere. Customer service replaced the whole thing which I was so happy about even though they are a little slow to reply to emails. Then none of the content we had worked anymore because the recordables are registered with the old broken device. Customer service eventually said they’d transfer the recordings over, that was about 2 months ago. It’s now been about 4 months owning the device and 3.5 months not able to use it. Seems like a very poor system that recordables are so hard to transfer, and the slow response time and inability to solve the problem is extremely frustrating. What a letdown for such a promising product. Our tonie box meanwhile gets used daily with no problems.

Disappointed
We have had our Storypod since Christmas and have never been able to get it to work. Life has gotten busy and we did not return it. I would really love to get it working, but cannot find an 800 customer support number. Please help!!!
Love the system
We have three Storypods in our house. I love the control the app gives me:
-We can invite family to record stories, songs, or messages for our kids to listen to at their pace.
- Remotely control the volume limit, brightness, and power off.
I do wish that the app could tell me the last battery level, even when powered off. It would help with knowing when to charge it, so my kids wouldn’t be just climbing into bed at night with it, only for that dreaded, “Uh-oh. It appears I’m out of battery.”
