The gift that worked one time
I purchased the Storypod as a Christmas present for my three kids. I was so excited! We used it once before it quit working. I reached out to the company and after sending all the information, plus videos, and screenshots the Storypod team decided my unit was defective and a replacement was sent out. I received a used replacement unit, which I agreed to, but it also had the same issue. It only worked one time and then never turned on again. I repeated the process of talking to Storypod support again and another used unit was sent to me. Guess what happened….it also did not work. After receiving the third faulty and unusable Storypod I kindly requested a refund. Are you ready for the best part. I had to send pictures, purchase dates, and jump through all the hoops AGAIN only to be ghosted by the company. Now I have three Storypods that DO NOT work plus approximately fifteen crafties that are completely useless. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend using Storypod or purchasing anything from this company. Best of luck to anyone who uses this company.

Poor customer service
My Storypod stopped working and I was seeing a blinking white light and was unable to troubleshoot the problem. After submitting a message to Storypod I never heard back and have been unable to get in contact with anyone.
Slow ineffective customer service
I got a Storypod as a gift for Christmas along with a few of the recordable stickers that my family recorded on and it worked a couple weeks then stopped working out of nowhere. Customer service replaced the whole thing which I was so happy about even though they are a little slow to reply to emails. Then none of the content we had worked anymore because the recordables are registered with the old broken device. Customer service eventually said they’d transfer the recordings over, that was about 2 months ago. It’s now been about 4 months owning the device and 3.5 months not able to use it. Seems like a very poor system that recordables are so hard to transfer, and the slow response time and inability to solve the problem is extremely frustrating. What a letdown for such a promising product. Our tonie box meanwhile gets used daily with no problems.

Disappointed
We have had our Storypod since Christmas and have never been able to get it to work. Life has gotten busy and we did not return it. I would really love to get it working, but cannot find an 800 customer support number. Please help!!!
Love the system
We have three Storypods in our house. I love the control the app gives me:
-We can invite family to record stories, songs, or messages for our kids to listen to at their pace.
- Remotely control the volume limit, brightness, and power off.
I do wish that the app could tell me the last battery level, even when powered off. It would help with knowing when to charge it, so my kids wouldn’t be just climbing into bed at night with it, only for that dreaded, “Uh-oh. It appears I’m out of battery.”

Must have!
We already love our Storypod! We have used it to have all of our family record stories and messages for our baby to listen to and she lights up hearing her people’s voices. I do wish that the recordable tokens could have MP3 files added to them as it can be very hard to record with babies and dogs around.

Great Product, Minor Improvements
I love this app and the product itself. It works well and is intuitive. I would love if the tracks showed how much time is left, and if I could que up tracks in a specific order, but those downfalls don’t stop me from enjoying the app/ product.
Generally good, hoping for some enhancements
The Storypod app for parents is great for recording tracks to stickers, tokens and crafties. I would love to be able to move a recording to a different item.
It is a little annoying how long it takes for the app to connect to the Storypod device when first opened. But after it connects, I can change the track that is currently playing, which I like. I do wish that there was a way to lock the buttons on the device so that my toddler can’t mess with it (she’s not yet 2 and doesn’t understand the button functionality yet).

Storypod fans!
We love storypod, crafties, books and its app. I think its far superior to its competitors for the target ages and its educational content. But there are some things that are left desired. I wish you could use the storypod’s white noise feature without wifi. There’s an occasional lag between commands on the phone and the storypod and we’ve had the white noise start randomly while playing a craftie. Not huge issues bc they were easily resolved but room for improvement. I love the ability to record your own content but allowing an upload of a file/mp3 would be a complete game changer! I think the app is very user friendly and the ability to pick what to listen to on the app ( even offline) and have all the content on the app is wonderful.

This app is easy to use and interact with the Storypod player. Overall, very pleased. Some suggestions I have are:
-being able to play the content via the app without directly tapping the content source to activate (beneficial for nap time or bedtime) -access to Storypod support within the app would be a beneficial option

My 2 and 1 year old love our storypod! What a great way to interact with them and introduce new topics!
Love our storypod and app
We love our storypod so much. I researched different kinds of audio players and chose this one! As a teacher I love the content, and I love that I can record my own stories in the app!
New to Storypod
I bought this for my 19 month old granddaughter and she LOVES it. I also love the FB community that comes along with this. It answers my many questions AND gives me ideas for different ways to use the Crafties. I went from not being any tier to Family VIP tier in the blink of an eye. I’m excited to see how she continues to use this as she grows.

Easy to use
I love being able to control the Storypod settings from the app. It makes it so easy to set time limits for bedtime and so much more!
Easy to use!
We love Storypod, and the app is simple to use as a parent, or grandparent! We record our own tokens for our littles, based on their current interests. With family living far away, we can easily send them a link, and they can record as well!
Great app!
I love that we can easily switch the language between English and Spanish for audio as our kids are listening to their Storypod characters. It’s a great alternative to screen time, and the characters are cute and encourage further creative play from littles.
Storypod app for parents
I really enjoy the features of the storypod app for the parents! I love how you can control the volume limit from within the app so that when it is calm down/quiet time you can set the limit lower so that it stays quieter :)
I also found it fairly easy to navigate and send record invites to out of state family to be able to record stories and songs for our toddler!

Enhances the Storypod Experience
This app is really helpful for controlling the content and play time of the Storypod remotely. It enables us to play specific tracks from our crafties without scrolling through each track manually. We use the app mostly for the bedtime features to easily set timers and volume limits. The one tricky part is that if you are having family make recordings they need to download and navigate the same app which has been confusing for some.

Love the StoryPod!
I wasn’t sure which audio player to get for our boys (1 & 3). I did a ton of research and decided to go with a StoryPod. It’s been a big hit so far! I love that the outside is cushy and won’t break if dropped or knocked over. The characters are a great size for little hands and my FAVORITE part of the StoryPod is the fact that the story continues if the character or token is taken off.
I haven’t had played with the app too much yet, but I haven’t found anything to complain about at the time of this review.

User friendly
I love that I can choose which song to play from the app. This makes skipping songs so much easier.
