Great app for tracking material participation hours
I need to track my material participation hours towards my Airbnb and VRBO short term rentals to qualify for the bonus depreciation at year end. This app is a great way to do it easily.

Great App
Love how easy this is to track hours for material participation on a short term rental. I find this easy because I always have my phone, versus when I kept it in a spreadsheet and had to log into a computer. It also lets me upload proof of the hours, which will be useful if I get audited.

Keep the IRS agents away
Lots of people like the idea of the “STR loophole” but probably most are not efficiently tracking their material participation hours and the hours of others. This is a crucial element that requires due diligence. The app is in its infancy but I’m sure this is going to save tons of time in the months ahead as I launch my first property leaning on the experience of the Chang’s. Be sure to check it out.

Best tracking system!
STR Tax Loophole tracker has made life so much easier! Before we were scrambling manually trying to track out hours but now we are able to do it so quickly and easily! So glad we downloaded and got going on it. Would highly recommend!
Time tracking lifesaver!
This app is very intuitive and easy to use. You can keep track of time for multiple properties and multiple timekeepers in a way that is surprisingly simple to navigate. My favorite part is that you can save screenshots, photos, receipts etc to help you support you timekeeping with evidence in real time. This is worth the investment.

I was previously tracking my hours manually through a spreadsheet provided by my CPA. This app has been a huge time saver. It’s very user-friendly and makes it easy to track my material participation hours.
My favorite feature is the voice-to-text function, which allows me to quickly record my hours while I’m busy working so I don’t forget to log them.
