This is the only app you need for soccer in Australia, great way to play football and meet new people, love it

Money minded
Stranger Soccer is honestly one of the most disappointing platforms I’ve dealt with. They claim to be about making football accessible, but that clearly doesn’t apply if you’re in a remote area. It feels like players outside major cities are completely ignored — limited games, poor organization, and zero effort to expand or support those communities.
On top of that, the fees are ridiculously high for what you actually get. You’re paying premium prices for a service that barely delivers, especially if you’re not in a central location. There’s no real value, no fairness, and definitely no consideration for players who don’t live in busy urban hubs.
What makes it worse is the poor communication. Games get cancelled and you’re only informed about 45 minutes before kickoff — completely inconsiderate for people who’ve already planned their time, travel, and schedule around it.
They also do nothing to encourage new players to join. No real incentives, no effort to grow the community — just a constant push for bookings and payments.
Meanwhile, local hosts are the only ones actually trying — going above and beyond to organise games and keep things running — yet they get little to no acknowledgement or support for their efforts. It’s completely unfair.
At this point, it genuinely feels like the app owner and organisers don’t care about the players or even the hosts. It’s all about the money, not the community.
