Don’t transcribe ATC well at all
I paid for transcriptions several times. Transcriptions were terrible. Found Google Live Transcribe did a much better job and a lot more ACCURATE. Tried contacting Stratus Horizon several times to talk with someone about it. They didn’t really seem to care! Do, I use Google Live Transcribe! I am an 8250 hour pilot and Flight Instructor!

Great App
I’ve had my stratus 2s for over 5 years now with no issues, one day however the ADS-B function stopped working. Downloaded this app and installed the firmware and it’s good as new. Only issue I see with the app is if you turn might mode on it disrupts the firmware download screen.
Works on iPad but not my iPhone
I have an iPhone ES and an iPad. The transcription on my iPad works ok with some misses or long transmissions cut short. My iPhone shows the audio signal coming in but no transcription text appears. I am using try latest version 2.7.0. I had hoped to use the transcription on my phone only and dedicate my iPad to ForeFlight navigation and weather.

Doesn’t work on iPhone
It works great if it works. But it work on my iPad, but doesn't work on iPhone and other iPad. The app shows green audio input, but the text doesn’t appear.
Broken
Stratus connects fine to ForeFlight, but stratus horizon pro can never see the device from my iPad nor iPhone.
Please advise on current status

Unfortunately I couldn’t figure out how to make it work,
It’s not recording or give any transcription ,
Last update says the application is now function with both features .,

Hello. A couple things could be affecting the app performance - we recommend you have the most recent iOS version on your device and that you make sure your app is up to date as well. There are also some devices that Stratus Horizon Pro does not support: iPad 3 and older, iPad mini 3 and older, iPhone 5S and older, iPad Air 1 (transcriptions will not work, only audio playback), and iPod Touch 4 and older. Please directly reach out to support@appareo.com for further assistance - we would love for you to give the app another try.
Dictation doesn’t work as promised
Bought the cable as well, expecting to read ATC off the app as advertised but it simply doesn’t work

Thank you for downloading the app and purchasing the Stratus Audio cable. The current app only has radio playback, transcriptions is still in development with an expected release March 2020.
When is transcription coming?
I have had the app loaded and purchased the cable many months ago with the anticipation of the transcription being released soon as stated on the web site. When is soon?

Crash on every use
When I try and update my Stratus 3 the app crashes every time.
Hasn’t worked since last Apple update
I have I phone 6 and iPad mini 2 which runs my Foreflight. Appareo Systems was notified a month ago that app won’t open since Apple last update. I have emails that indicate a fix was being worked on but still no joy. App won’t open. Good luck with it.
Stratus Horizon Pro
Previous complaint of no vertical view fixed by latest update. This AHRS coming off my Stratus ESGi works better than the Aspen 1000 panel mount in my C-182 ! Love the firmware update feature. I give Appareo ten stars on this one.
Only one major flaw
Love the theory behind the app. It could be a lifesaver. I have it loaded on my iPad and iPhone. I only gave it 3 stars because the app only works on horizontal mode. I keep my yoke mounted iPhone and iPad vertical. In the event of a vacuum failure or lost of AI, the app would be running sideways. Not the best position in the event of an emergency. Especially if IMC. I don't think it would be a tough fix. Not sure why they haven't made orientation and option.
