Spam/Bot accounts are out of control
I get follow requests on a nearly daily basis from what are clearly spam/fake/bot accounts…presumably for pig butchering scams. I’m getting quite tired of doing Strava’s trust and safety work for them each day. Strava, you need to dial up your investment in this area—as a (paying) subscribing this really makes me want to find alternatives.

Indispensable
Easy to use, attractive layout. I love seeing the maps of my routes and adding up my mileage week to week and all year. And it helps you find good running routes of the length you want. An excellent resource.

the only reason I give it 4 and not 5 is because I have runna, I pay for Runna, they are the same owners right? why should I pay for two separate apps? they serve the same purpose, if anything Runna has more

My motivation to ride
I love this app do that I’m disabled. It helps me see what I write daily or when I’m out there writing I thanked him for this service. I love it.
Wonderful app
I have always been an active person but ever since Strava it has bolstered me to do even more due to the social aspect of the app, being able to see what your friends are up to motivates you to try new sports and get out and exercise. It has gained me many new friends whom I can talk about excercise to. The app also has made me feel better about myself

GPS tracking is terrible
I went for an “8 mile” run with my friend yesterday , after completing the run - going off my strava we realised the gps had completely overestimated the distance on the app, my friends garmin showed we actually ran 20% less distance. When looking on the maps it showed mine was all fuzzy and was adding extra distance in. So frustrating when I’m trying to train for a half marathon and I think I’ve been running less distance for such a long time.

W app
W app got me to run a lot more and got me into so much better habits
Great app
I’m really enjoying Strava. I started using it just to track fun mountain bike rides. I started racing and used it to track that. Now I’m using it to track my training and seeing great gains.
Sub
I wanted to use the app to find local bike trails. But it keeps bugging me to sub whenever I try to check out a route. Not worth it
Doesn’t let me create a password
I can’t login as it won’t let me create a password and now locked me out for 1 hour

I’m updating my review because they resolved the issue I was having with changing my password.

I do think it should be easier to reach customer service when issues are access related, but they came through and got it fixed so I’m updating my review to four stars.
If they improve access to live customer service agents (especially when issues are access related), I’ll update my review to five stars.

Incredibly aggressive subscription prompts
The developers of this once-great app have prioritized profits and greed above all else! Most functions are now paywalled, and with almost EVERY TAP or SCREEN you move into, you’ll be greeted with either a button, a banner, or FULL SCREEN prompt to buy a subscription!!! 🤬you and your 🤬 greed!!!
Randomly shuts down
The app will randomly shut down/stop tracking you for multiple kilometres after 10K. No explanation or reason. It will also randomly shoot your average KM split to 20 minutes, basically nuking your average pace. Would absolutely not recommend.
Gay
Gay app to show off your gay runs to your gay friends. Can’t connect my $450 smart watch which is also gay. No useful guides online not worth the trouble

Its very overrated.not accurate & a waste of money.
Greedy company and no customer support
How this app has 4.8 stars in incredible. Customer support is awful ai that doesn’t even function. I literally can’t login to my account and to get support, I need to login to my account. Explain that logic.
