I am fed up with the constant stream of nonsensical notifications. I am also tired of the system constantly recommending properties to me in areas where I haven't even been looking. Furthermore—given that this is a home rental site—I am frustrated with a system that turns a blind eye to people trying to rent out a single room as if it were an entire house. Finally, I am annoyed that they never inform me of the outcome when I do file a complaint.

StreetEasy is anything but easy. You see apartments you like and ask to view and get no response. This site doesn’t function and must serve some other purpose. Not very good.

Waste of everyone’s time
There is apparently no standard for a listing to be published.
Photos that are not of the actual unit? No problem.
No square footage provided? No problem.
This defeats the whole purpose of having filters.
Any search is an absolute pain as it is littered with “featured” and “sponsored” irrelevant listings that have nothing to do with my search.
If you want to exclude a section of a neighborhood in your search, well sorry you’re out of luck.
This app cosplays as helping renters find something, but the actual, unique purpose it has is help lying landlords and awful management companies misrepresent what they actually have to offer.

Can only search for sales not rentals
Not sure why this is called a rental app.
Fix search
When I click “redo search in this area” I expect it to search only in that area not jump away from the area I’m in and show me apartments in Jersey when I’m in a queens!!!
Good faith deposit.
You need to have an option for whether brokers or landlord require a good faith deposit. That can really kill a deal.
Can’t Stay Logged In
The app is great when I’m able to sign in. But it randomly (and without warning) logs me out several times a week. I’m late to see/respond to new listings because of it. Really unacceptable for an app that’s supposed to serve one of the fastest moving real estate markets in the country.
Great app, with a UX bug
The swipe to hide interaction is frustrating. It happens when you are scrolling through photos, and you accidentally miss and hide the apartment from your search.
Don't use in-app
It is difficult to save and revisit searches. Not possible to delete searches. Just is not user-friendly in app.
So far so good.
I’m enjoying listing for apartments in stories with great scenery. So far this app has managed to do just that . Similar listings pop up very often, which helps :)

Can’t log in
Every time I try and log in I get a message that says “The email or password previously entered has changed.” Then I go and reset the password and I still get the same issue when trying to log in.
Listings Glitch
The app is not working properly when you add filters. Listings that appear on desktop doesn’t appear on the app.
Won’t let me log into my account
I’ve tried logging and it says that I had changed my password recently, so then I actually change the password and try to log in again and it shows the same error message.
