Downloaded to play World Cup with mates

And now I’m several competitions deep in the career mode and trying to get my first call up for England.

Brilliant fun and a fresh take on a classic with loads of fun ways to play solo (no internet required) or in competition.

As a fan of the original striker this is great fun, the only thing I’d change is the league page layout, the table needs its own page it’s too small

Fun but frustrating

Passes the time but the constant need for a perfect game to get a win because the opposing teams score 5/6 a game is unrealistic (mid difficulty level), the goal percentage makes you chase perfection also but penalties come down to a 50/50 guess while a shot from the halfway line is a guaranteed goal - overall a fun game for a short while but needs balancing out

If you find your Striker is needing to score all of your team’s chances for their team to be competitive it might be time to look for a transfer to a better club - so you won’t need to do as much of the heavy lifting for your team. And for penalties, if you place your shot in the corner the keeper won’t get there - which ever way they dive - so it’s up to you to either go for accuracy or play the percentages. The frustrations of being a Striker!!

Addictive!

This is very addictive and hard to break away from!
Very simple to play which suits me, easy to understand and great fun!
I thoroughly recommend this for all ages.

Takes me back

Simple, fun, addictive…but fiendishly challenging to master. Took me back to a simpler time of sensible soccer, love the gameplay and career mode has me hooked…

Perfect footy game

This is just like the football games I used to play on my ZX spectrum back in the day, only better. I’ve been playing it on the commute to work and I don’t want to stop when I reach the office! Super fun game.

Thanks for the 5 star review. We think those ZX spectrum games are hugely underrated! The graphical constraints they had in those days meant that game play had to be spot on and the reliance on players’ imaginations was a strength rather than a weakness 🤓
