About

STRIKEWHEEL is a start engine, not a task manager. It never shows you a list. It deals you one card. You hold the button, feel five beats under your thumb, and a timer lights. That's the whole app. WHY IT WORKS THIS WAY If the problem were knowing what to do, a list would have fixed it by now. The gap isn't between not knowing and knowing — it's between knowing and starting. Lists make that gap wider, because every line is one more decision at exactly the moment you have none left. So STRIKEWHEEL takes the deciding away. One card. If it's the wrong one, swipe it away — as often as you like, forever, with nothing held against you. STARTING IS THE ACHIEVEMENT Every strike counts for life, and the number only goes up. There are no streaks here, nothing that breaks, and nothing that turns red when you disappear for a week — because a broken streak is the most common reason people quit apps like this, and almost nobody comes back after losing one. Instead, everything you start feeds a fire. It grows with you. It never goes out. WHAT'S INSIDE • One card at a time — never a list, never a decision at a low moment • Hold to strike — the same five-beat ritual every time, so starting becomes muscle memory instead of a choice • A timer that fills instead of draining — stopping early still counts • Your burn lives on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, so the phone can go face down • Too big? Split it — a heavy card becomes small first steps, worked out on your own device • The Thaw — something you've avoided for weeks arrives frozen. Melt it with your thumb and sit with it for two minutes. Contact is the win. • Brain dump — one line per thought. Sorting is the app's job, not yours. • A small flame that sits with you while you work • Four themes with matched fonts, and one optional card a day. Never more. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no third-party SDKs. Your cards live on your iPhone and nowhere else, and the core app works fully offline. Smart Splitting is the one feature that can use the internet, it is off until you switch it on, and it sends only the text of the single card you are splitting. Made by one person, for a brain that needed it.
