Love it

In my string jazz group we often use this app, and honestly it’s so helpful! I’m new to playing jazz style in my violin and it was made the process so much faster and easier and honestly it’s so much fun :)

Fun and educational

Great app that helps you learn how to improvise! My daughter loves it.

Great app!

Very straight forward and nicely laid-out

String Groove app review update

New update is fantastic. Who would ever beleive you can easily get a distortion/whammy bar sound on an acoustic violin? Edgar shows you in a built in video exactly how to do it. He also adds chord structures and using them to help improvise. More tunes, and as usual There are exercises to work you thru the process slowly, and methodically. So instead of "band in a box" this is "teacher in a box" and at an unheard of price. You could easily pay for a year of lessons to get the same material. lots of play along exercises and oppotunities to work on intonation.
