About

Clean, professional product photos — processed entirely on your own iPhone or iPad. Nothing is uploaded. Nothing is metered. Nothing expires. StudioDrop Go removes the background from your product photos, drops your item onto a clean backdrop with a soft studio shadow, and enhances the lighting and colour. Then it saves the finished images straight back to your Photos. ON YOUR DEVICE, NOT IN THE CLOUD Most background removers are subscriptions to an online service: you upload each photo, their servers process it, you download the result, and your credit balance ticks down. StudioDrop Go works completely differently. - No cloud service and no account - No AI credits, tokens or monthly limits - Nothing uploaded — your photos never leave your device - No internet needed at all: process a full batch with no signal - Fast, because there is no upload and download round-trip - One purchase. It's yours, permanently. It uses Apple's own on-device machine learning, so the processing power is already in your pocket. GETTING GREAT RESULTS — SHOOT LIKE THIS StudioDrop Go replaces and enhances the background, but it works best when the original photo gives it a clean edge to find: - Use good, even light. Daylight near a window is ideal; avoid harsh direct sun and deep shadows. - Shoot against a contrasting, uncluttered background. A plain table and a plain backdrop is all you need — many sellers use a white table with a white backdrop and let StudioDrop Go do the rest. - Make sure the item stands out from what's behind it. Dark items on a light backdrop, pale items on a darker one. - One item per photo, filling most of the frame. - Hold steady and tap the item on screen to focus. Do that and cutouts come out clean, every time. The full guide is built into the app — tap the "?" button any time. CHOOSE YOUR SHAPE Most reselling platforms prefer square 1:1 images, so that's the default. But you can choose whatever suits where you're listing: square, portrait (4:5, 3:4), tall (2:3) for pin boards, vertical (9:16) for stories and short video, or landscape (4:3, 16:9) for banners and web pages. The long edge is always a crisp 2000 pixels. CHOOSE YOUR BACKDROP - Pure white — the safe standard for marketplace listings - Transparent PNG — for designers, thumbnails and flexible use - Nine curated colours — grey, cream, blush, sage, sky, lavender, sand, navy and black, chosen to flatter product photography - Any colour at all — a full colour wheel for exact brand matching BUILT FOR BATCHES Pick a whole shoot at once and process it in a single tap. Results are saved into a tidy "StudioDrop" album so they're easy to find and upload. Your original photos are never altered. WHO IT'S FOR Marketplace resellers and flippers. Car boot and market traders. House clearance and estate sale operators. Charity shops processing donations. Trading card, coin and collectibles sellers cataloguing in bulk. Handmade and craft shops. Vintage and antiques dealers. Jewellery and watch sellers. Small brands building a consistent catalogue. Social sellers making vertical product posts. Photographers and virtual assistants offering listing services. Collectors documenting a collection, and anyone building a home inventory for insurance. Built by a reseller who got tired of paying monthly for something a phone can already do. Also available for Mac as StudioDrop — drag in a whole folder and process hundreds of photos at desktop speed. Both apps use the same on-device engine and produce identical results. No subscription. No credits. No uploads. Just clean photos, every time. Works on iPhone and iPad. Requires iOS 17 or later.
