False advertising
You guys advertise this app on tiktok to be one of the apps you can make your study sets into watching subway surfers with the text and voiceovers and whatever and turns out you have to pay $20 a month to do that! DONT get this app if that’s what u wanted its just another greedy corporation.
Tutor Me Section needs improvement .. It keeps glitching on crucial assignments
I decided to get this app because of the Tutor Me section. When it comes to study apps, I feel like StudyFetch’s biggest advantage is the Tutor Me feature plus its AI integration. Nevertheless, Sparky is having some trouble when it comes to the Tutor Me section, as it keeps repeating previous lessons from different notes instead of responding to what I am currently asking.
Sometimes, rather than replying to me, Sparky starts dictating its coding format and then comes back to tell me that it was having a glitch. Other times, I have to cancel my study session because it’s not responding at all.
I hope the app developers can spend more time fixing the Tutor Me section because, so far, that’s the app’s strongest feature and something you wouldn’t see in many other study apps.

How it changed my life
When I was a young college student it saved me time spent while note taking and the mental stress of college work over all.

I’ve had studyfetch for about a year now, and before this update I thought it was really helpful. I pay for a premium subscription so I feel like for everything I pay all the features should at least work? But ever since this update the app has been lagging so much, it’s impossible to find materials you uploaded, and the live lecture feature is a joke. It used to work so well before and now the audio to text is EXTREMELY delayed, so if you click stop recording it will stop transcribing like the last 40 minutes of your lecture. This new update is actually atrocious I’m o disappointed

Good customer service, developing app
Customer service was very responsive and helpful, 5/5 on that. The actual app experience was lacking… It would consistently pull outside resources in to “supplement” your material you gave it, even though I directed it not to. Evidently, the LLM forgets everything you tell it each chat (and probably during the session, in my experience) so you can’t actually train it to customize to your learning needs. Also, it randomly started giving me quiz questions in another language…?

I think it’s a bit sad that we have to pay for more studying things like the lectures to which I really like but please let us at least have the unlimited lectures for help it’s not fair that we have to pay for it completely. Please let us have this at least, college is already draining us of money, if you wish to help us don’t aid the issues as well.

AI Clunky and No Active Recall
AI based tools are not very visual or accurate. The diagrams and figures often overwritten or clunky. Additionally, the app prioritizes quizzes, test and AI generated flash cards which do not actually “teach material”. Additionally, the app publicizes the ability to talk to Sparke to work through concepts or if building Lectures; however, I do see that as an option within my Study Plan and I pay for the premium subscription. As a medical student, I have 2 weeks between exams, I tried this out for about 3/4 days and it has not helped in preparing or saving me time on learning or preparing materials.

Good updates, still finding problem
I’ve been a year long user of the app. Since 2025. I do like the app for college use. Really keeps me up with my classmates. Only thing I found so far was the lecture recording. When logging in more than 30 minutes of recordings. The recorder starts acting funky. It wont catch any audio. Im not sure if it’s an issue on my side or what. This issue also was a thing before the app icon got updated.

Scam
Uploaded a simple chemistry video and the it returned notes for how to bake a cake and something about eggs. Retried several times, scam they just take your money and can’t do YouTube summaries. Disappointed

Amazing App But Wish It Had Other Features
I personally love this app so much! I used it to help me study for my AP Psych midterm and the actual exam and I scored super well on both. I truly love the ai and how it customizes to your learning style and how you learn. This truly helped improve my studying and made it much more fun as someone with ADHD boring studying can make me forget everything. I also love all the mini apps there are which is fun to try out. That being said I do wish it had some other features! The main one being able to transform your notes, etc, to visuals with illustrations and everything. As I tend to learn well with visual learning and pictures. Another thing is this app seems to be great with more content based subjects but not as much for like math and sciences (though it can depend). So I wish the features did more with generating like problems to work out especially for chemistry, math, physics etc. last thing, I think it would also be great if maybe one day it has like an SAT Prep option or specific AP Prep options (courses). I know that can be hard though. Overall I give this app 5/5 stars because it truly boosted my grades a lot and helped me study much more efficiently!

It doesn’t help with you need to study, AI is gonna pick what they think is important and you have to tell it over and over then it glitches I’ve used every feature and AI does what it wants MOT what you need I canceled my subscription fasttttt DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MINEY
the worst paywall
so lemme get this straight, so you sign in with your gmail account and put you pass then seeing that it's wrong despite you remembering? then you finally get in the app and you see "test" feature, so you also have an exam tmrw but then once you take your materials, it HAS A FRICKING PAYWALL.
I am one clear example who happen to come across this incident. Just use ChatGPT or Quizlet, the only paywall is going to be your textbook being open to a page of the chapter Money.

Great app
This app is seriously a lifesaver, its helped me improve my grades from 70-80% to 90% and is fun to use, just that it would be better to have more options available for the free version.

The only reason that i am giving 4 stars is just because of the lag, there seems to be a lot of lag and i do hope that someone pays attention to this eventually because it really the only thing wrong with the app ‘
