Great App

Great App that’s constantly improving. Great simple design. All features you need. Clear Statistics without unnecessary infos. Developers constantly improve the app with new features. For that price absolutely worth it.

Perfekter Gym Tracker

Ich habe sehr viele unterschiedliche Gym Tracker ausprobiert. War nie zu 100% zufrieden.

Dann habe ich Styrka entdeckt. Besser geht‘s nicht!

Very Minimalitic but Lacks Key Features

I truly do love what this app tries to accomplish: a simplistic, minimalist way to track your lifts. To a certain extent it does its job, but I was a little disappointed to find out that it lacked certain features that are crucial to have in a lifting app as a serious gymgoer. For example being able to mark RIR and which sets were pushed to failure. I would really love for these features to be added and I think that would make all the difference. Other than that though, this app is excellent if you want an easy way to track lifts week to week, but probably not the best if you are serious about progressing.

Response from developer

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! Since the app is used by people in 100+ countries, I’ve found that training styles and preferences vary a lot. Features that feel essential to some users can make the app feel overly complex for others, so I’m careful about what I add. In the meantime, you can use the notes section for each exercise to track things like RIR, sets to failure, grip, how the lift felt, or any adjustments. It’s designed for exactly that. I really appreciate the suggestion!

Feedback / Suggestions

- Fonts in Darkmode are too dark and hard to read
- Scrollbar for Reps/Weight
- There should be a way to track progress over different gyms/machines with the same exercise. Best would be an option to add workout variants, that track individually
- csv data export

Response from developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I really appreciate you taking the time to write it. For dark mode, I’ve already made the text brighter. Most text now sits between about 75% and 100% brightness, so readability shouldn’t be an issue if you’re not using your brightness at the lowest possible where visibility is already low. About the reps and weight scrollbar, I’ve thought about it before, but with people logging anywhere from 2.5 kg to well over 200 kg, a traditional scrollbar isn’t really practical without making it frustrating for a large part of the user base. For tracking the same exercise across different gyms or machines, my recommendation is simply to create a new exercise with the same name and add the gym or machine name to it. I want to keep the app as simple as possible instead of adding lots of extra features that make it more complicated to use. CSV export is definitely something I’m working on and I plan to add it in a future update. Thanks again for the suggestions. Even if I don’t implement everything exactly as requested, I do read all the feedback and it helps me decide what to improve next.

Great App

This app not requiring a subscription is a God send in this increasingly subscription service world.

The app is cleanly designed and does exactly what it needs to do without any extra fluff.

One thing I have noticed is that the rest timer pauses when you scroll down to view the rest of your workout which is a minor inconvenience.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! Thanks also for pointing out the rest timer issue. The timer pausing when scrolling through the workout is not intended behavior, and I can see how it becomes annoying during a workout. I’ll look into fixing this in an upcoming update.

Nice app but needs some features

I really like the app and its concept. It works pretty well an is priced fairly.
In theory it does its job but for my preference it misses some features

One thing is, that you can „finish“ sets so in your workout the sets are like a list and you can tick them when finished and the rest timer starts automatically.

One thing I don’t like is that when I’m doing a workout and log a weight like 22.5kg then it shows as 22… which is quite ugly.

The last thing I have is that, in my experience at least, the exercises and the stats are translated into every workout with these exercises. So when I have the same exercises in different workouts and with different amounts of sets (for example Workout 1: 2 sets; workout 2: 4 sets), then it translates from the previous time I did the exercise in the previous workout into my workout and the exercise. So I always have to match it to my actual plan and change the amount of sets.

Overall great app, recommend

Response from developer

Hey, thanks so much for the kind words and for taking the time to write a second review, really appreciate it. You're right about the weight display cutting off decimals like 22.5, that's a bug on my end. I've already fixed it and it will be in the next update numbers will always display in full now, no matter the value. I also improved how the app handles set data when starting a workout from a template. Previously, if you did a standalone bench press session with 5 sets and then started your Push Day template the next day, bench press would show 5 pre-filled sets while everything else had 3. Now the app is smarter about this, it pulls the set data from the last time you did that same template, so everything stays consistent. If you add an exercise you've never done before, it just starts with one empty set like normal. Both fixes are coming in the next update. Thanks again for pointing these out, it helps a lot!

Bug in rest timer

Rest timer randomly stops for no reason and doesn't start again until you pause and unpause it. Very good app otherwise

Response from developer

Thank you for letting me know. I will fix it immediately! *Update* The issue is now fixed and should be released by tomorrow!

Timer would be perfect.

The App is almost perfect. I would just like to have a timer between the sets so I know that I have for example rested for 2 minutes. That’s the only thing which I would like to have.

Update: the Timer is here

Small improvement if u could add a sound when the timer is over. I for my example use headphones and would love when I hear that the timer is over

Excelente app

Sem propagandas, treinos ja prontos e tem como marcar intervalos e repetições, muito bom!

Very Nice App

This is a very nice looking app which does what it’s supposed to do very nicely. I like that it’s a one time purchase and I like the minimalistic style. I would really appreciate if there was the option to log exercises which I do unilaterally as left - or right arm, so the next time I do my workout I can see which arm corresponds to which set. Overall a very good minimalistic workout tracking app.

Response from developer

Thank you for the review and the idea, I will start working on it immediately! Update* Unilateral tracking will be in the next update. Go to Settings > Workout and enable "Unilateral Tracking" a side indicator (L/R) will appear on each set that you can tap to tag as left or right. Your side labels carry forward automatically when you repeat a workout. The update should be available next week.

Affordable and effective

Can’t believe there aren’t more positive reviews as this a brilliant logging app for weightlifting. First off it’s really straightforward to use, you can add your own exercises for workouts if they aren’t listed, it offers suggestions of weight increases if you’ve logged it at the same level for 3+ sessions. This can be helpful for a progressive overload cycle, but I tend to turn it off if I’m doing high rep or cardio.
Second thing I love is that it’s about the basics needed, no pushing social media bells and whistles, ‘premium’ subscriptions or personal data scraping. It’s been a big help on my last training cycle and massive kudos to the dev for making this affordable for those of us who want to be serious about training but don’t have endless cash to throw at apps. Also thanks for the regular updates that keep it all working. Ten stars for that.

I’m incredibly grateful for your support and for recognizing the work that goes into the app. Seeing that it has had a positive impact on your training is exactly why I continue to improve and maintain it. Thank you again for your kind words and encouragement, it truly motivates me to keep building and making the app better. Wishing you all the best with your training! 💪

Great

Great app, will there be a Russian language?

Goated App

Sort of app I was looking for, no fluff. Would love it could add some functionality to link say Garmin workouts to sessions so added data, like wise if function to add garmin runs automatically so all data in one app.

Amazingly simple and beautiful

Thank you devs for such an amazing app without absurd monthly charges, keep up the amazing work. I’d love to see possible widget implementation if possible in the future :)

Response from developer

Hi there! Thank you so much for your kind words and support. It really means a lot. Great news! A widget feature is actually something I’m currently working on, and it’s coming soon.
