We love Robert Hubbell

We listen to the Hubbell report daily, and we share it with friends!!!

Excellent content

I’m finding that original thought and writing has brought down my distaste for the parts of social media that (fill in the blank). Getting to content I want to read is seamless and not doom scrolling.
Bringing in the AI feature to detect authenticity is hearting. I think AI is great for organizing thoughts, brainstorming, is a fabulous tool but too much takes the human out of content and original thought. Bravo!

Great App. Learning Curve

I really enjoy this all so far, however there is a bit of a learning curve. I struggled to find how to distinguish between my “profile” and my “publication.” After a few YouTube videos it helped but the app and the website aren’t super intuitive but from what I’ve seen it’s gotten better than where it was just a few years ago. Excited to learn more!

Coffee focus time

I knew CG was a driven smart dude….. But helping teach others with some deep thoughts to think wider and broader is a gift. I always look forward to secluding myself and morning coffee to reflect on his colorful s
Musings….and share .

Highly readable, reads like a story. Very authentic well written, just states what happened

Congratulations to the young writer who has done a wonderful job. Very mature and unbiased writing.

Wisdom, pure and simple.

Independent voices in journalism; my new form of charity.

As democracy and its critical pillar, the free press, hang by a thread, “truthful voices in journalism” my new charitable cause. Quite literally and sadly, I’ve partitioned off significant dollars from legitimate former favorite causes. This adjustment in my spending - it’s in the name of saving democracy; for all good humanitarian causes will be lost without spreading truth and fact in a fully risen totalitarian government.

With hard subscriptions to, among others, The Economist, The Atlantic, The Guardian, Bloomberg News, NY Times, 20+ paid Substack subscriptions and still donating to the political campaigns of future leaders (please God) calling for an end to the current fully corrupt fascist American kakistocracy occupying our Oval, I remain hopeful for America’s massively needed NOVEMBER BLUENAMI 🌊🌊🌊.

Though, I couldn’t fully let go of a few pet causes that tug at my heartstrings, they are suffering without best generosity from me — and others I’m sure.
Very, very thankful for SUBSTACK. It’s the best platform for truth in journalism.
Godspeed America.

Notification issue

I am begging Substack to fix whatever issue with getting rid of the notification bubble. It takes forever to go as no matter how many times I go through my notifications.

Great Writers, Free Links to news around the world!

I read this every morning and again in the late afternoon. Many are writers and storytellers we know, but some stacks are written by smart folks around the world. Truth, humor, and talented wise-crackers!

A community of hateful bigots

The app itself functions alright. But the community in this app are the most hateful bigoted ignorant scared and fear mongering group I have seen on any platform. The app should be burned to the ground.

Buggy software

It’s got problems

lovely creative pockets

Thank you for creating a platform for folks to connect and share their thoughts, creativity and passion!

Good app and content but several long unfixed bugs

The app itself is good, but several annoying bugs have never been fixed. While in comments for an article if you rotate the device once and again, the layout doesn’t update to the new orientation.

In comments it frequently is not possible to heart a comment unless you leave the comment section and come back.

When writing a comment if you leave the page and comeback or click elsewhere you lose what you typed and can’t recover it.

Gifts are a wonderful subject

I really loved that. My, deceased, best friend, who adored her husband, once said ‘The only man I’d ever leave home for is David Attenborough.’ And she meant it. Clearly you would understand. Slightly shocked, I replied, ‘but he’d never BE there!’

Helpful insights!

This app is useful in providing helpful insights into readings or podcasts that you may find useful or not. In general I have received insights into information that is useful throughout my day.

In his head.

I was there. It’s all true.

Useful

Highly recommend using it. I use it all the time

Huge agreement on starting point

My review is on one topic only for this paper: you have to start with the goal of a research project, a political outcome, an economic outcome,... Or a philosophical viewpoint.

That is the starting point for this essay. That is enough to compel me to read the entire paper. Thank you for the clarity of your statement for this reality. Now I’m going to read the rest of your article.
