Love Substack

New Substacker Enjoying the Experience
I’ve been on Substack for a few months. I love the writing experience and meeting so many likeminded maverick home and school educators. I’m enjoying reading helpful articles and connecting with new and old friends. I just reconnected with my first online coach!
Thank you for a great onboarding and fun experience. I’m looking forward to growing old here.

Great info hub
I use the Substack App everyday for reading and listening to content of those I subscribe to. The recommendations for additional authors is often helpful and in my interest-zone.
Lovee
the app provides content from real people especially writers and people of similar philosophies. so many good reads and a lotta possibilities to connect with people via media in this app!
Substack is awesome!
Substack is a place where I spend a great part of my day: I read, I write, I learn, hopefully I teach, and I make a little money to boot.
I highly recommend the Common Sense Substack by George Shay.

Finally Something with Substance
Substack is hard to describe until you take a good look into it. This space is great because it’s not like any social media. The content is full of well thought and researched based information ranging a full spectrum of topics and fields. And it’s just full of substance.
I love yall
I love this app so much please don’t ever switch up or I think I’ll literally die💔💔💔
Frustrating
This could be so good, but I keep getting lost in the feed. I just want to read the articles I find helpful, but it is turning into twitter or instagram.
Honest, in-depth trustworthy news
I listen daily to find out the truth of our political news.

The Joy of Community
It is so encouraging, uplifting, and sharpening to relate to authentic people in a social media platform who are likeminded, Bible believing, God honoring, people respecting, and love-joy-peace-hope-truth sharing to the glory of God!
An Adult!
This essay articulates a feeling my 40-something housemate relates; and, by the end of the essay, I realized the essay applies to me and the times my parents and siblings and now my own adult children have buoyed my existence financially.

Always learn something useful
Viktor’s articles go in-depth - no matter what the topic. Our bodies function with many intertwining systems that Viktor elucidates & incorporates in easy-to follow protocols that resolve many of the challenges we face as we age. I, for one, am ever-grateful for his in-depth research & clear steps to follow to alleviate a malfunctioning, aging body. Thank you!

So glitchy
I like the content creators but this app is super glitchy. It’s constantly stalling and has to be restarted just to get videos to play (don’t have this issue on other apps). And there’s a lot of stuttering if I try to rotate the view to landscape then again I have to close the app to get it to stop. It doesn’t seem like there’s any refresh that happens by pulling down from the top like most apps have so it takes more effort than it should to just refresh and get things unstuck!

review!
this app is an amazing source to learn how others perceive things in their mind, and their thoughts on specific topics! It really helped me open my eyes to realize that there might be more sides of stories that was never talked about or heard of. It also helped me learn about other religions, peoples thoughts on politics, sexuality, more about hyper sexuality, world problems, CSA and even more! I really am reconsidering my religion and questioning what I learned about Christianity. this app is great!

Poor UX/UI
This is easily one of the worst functioning apps I’ve used.
Not at all intuitive, but my biggest issue is performance. I have a couple of podcasts that use this app, so I am forced to listen to them here.
I live in a rural area and the rate at which the podcasts cut out is absurd. Doesn’t happen with the apple app or with Pocketcasts of course, just this one.
I started downloading them since that is an available option, figured that would solve the issue. Nope. Even when apps are “downloaded” and thus should physically be ON my phone, they still cut out dozens of times over the course of an hour.
Absolute trash product.

I paid for my favorite economist substack. 70/year is a steal. I studied economics and mathematics in college, so I like to stay informed from the experts.
My idea of worthy social media
Got something noteworthy to share? Want a 1st read? Need to get some beauty into our world with your artistry in media, photos, sound or movement? SUBSTACK satisfies. Unlike Nextdoor which may have a human overlord, it is being minded by AI apparently programmed by tea party Republicans. Instagram & Tiktok get many unemployable for what gets posted there so careful peeps. When Twitter sold to Musk and became X I bailed, and Facebook? I regret the loss of ease finding childhood friends but Zuckerberg's politics are nothing I wish to support. Thus SUBSTACK comes to the rescue for this creative, hyperactive, I got opinions member who is loving her community here. thanks💁🏼♀️
