1.1

Languages. • Choose the language spoken in your clip. Subtext used to simply follow your iPhone's language, which meant the wrong captions if you filmed in another one. Now you pick, and it remembers. • Show captions in a different language from the speech — Spanish audio with English captions, and so on. Translation runs on your device, like everything else. Part of the one-time unlock. • Import your own .srt or .vtt subtitle file. If a language isn't supported for transcription, bring your own text and Subtext will style it and burn it in. Free. • A short tutorial on first launch, so none of the above stays hidden. Also fixed: switching caption language now refreshes every line instead of leaving a mix of two languages, and the language shown in the editor no longer gets cut off.
