About
Subtotal adds up what you pay for every month and prints it on one receipt.
There is no bank to connect and no account to make. You pick services out of a catalog of 587 of them, Netflix to your gym, and the price and the plan come with the pick. Adding one takes two taps. Fix anything later.
WHAT IT DOES
• Shows your monthly and yearly subtotal, plus a breakdown by category.
• Keeps every subscription as a receipt: what it costs, how it bills, when it renews.
• Reminds you before a renewal, if you want it to. Dates are optional.
• Tracks plans that bill weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or every N months.
• Handles things bundled with another plan at $0, and anything not in the catalog as a custom entry.
• Home Screen widget with the number you care about.
• Dark mode as a carbon copy of the same receipt.
WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
• No bank linking, ever. You type what you pay for, or tap it.
• No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no paid tier. Everything is free.
• Your ledger lives on your phone and in your own iCloud, where the person who made the app can't see it.
Catalog prices are US list prices and are suggestions. Every amount is editable.
Works on iPhone and iPad, and the layout folds between a one-column phone and a two-page ledger book on iPhone Duo.
