Thank you for your feedback. SubTracker is designed to help you find and organize your subscriptions while keeping your information private. The app does not automatically access, collect, or cancel subscriptions from other apps, which is intentional to protect your privacy and keep you in control of your information. You can add subscriptions manually, or add them automatically by opening the subscription’s page, taking a screenshot, and uploading it in the app. SubTracker can then read the details from the screenshot and add the subscription for you. These instructions are available in **Settings > View Instructions**. We understand this may not have been clear enough, and we’ll continue working to make the process clearer and easier to use.

Hi Rosie, there seems to be a misunderstanding about how SubTracker works. SubTracker does not ask for or require your account passwords/login credentials, and it cannot access or cancel subscriptions on your behalf. It is a privacy-focused subscription tracker where you add the subscriptions you want to monitor, so you can see your recurring costs and upcoming payments in one place. If anything in our App Store description gave you a different impression, we’d genuinely like to know so we can make it clearer.

Hi, SubTracker does not require you to sign into your subscription accounts or provide passwords. If you purchased a subscription through the App Store, billing, cancellation and refund requests are handled directly by Apple through your Apple ID. We’re also reviewing our onboarding to make sure this is clearer for new users.

SubTracker is designed to privately track subscriptions, recurring costs and renewal dates; it does not log into third-party accounts or automatically cancel subscriptions. We’d appreciate hearing what you expected the app to do so we can improve both the product and how we explain it.
