this is a great app

nobody does it better. the haptics are a little excessive in my opinion and I would appreciate an option to turn them off

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. You can already turn off haptic feedback by tapping the Menu ("...") Button, then tap Settings, and scrolling down to the "Haptic feedback on update" toggle under "Map Settings."

Best subway map by far

This could be better than the MTA app it self. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

The best app for *accurate* subway tracking

No other app so consistently shows proper weekend and overnight reroutes and random service disruptions. It always knows how the trains are ACTUALLY running.

My favorite feature is being able to see upcoming train departures at any station relative to the train I’m already on. So I can decide where to transfer or IF to transfer, especially when I’m in a rush.

perfect

out of any app i’ve tried, this one gives the most useful information about nyc subways the quickest.

How it started vs now

This app is no better than google maps at this point. Regularly behind schedule by 1-2’ which is everything when trains run once every 10-15’ in the early morning. What was once a saving grace is now an unreliable menace. I’ve been using this app for about a year and can honestly say you’re better off just winging it

Response from developer

Hey, thanks for the feedback, I’m sorry to hear that you’ve found the app’s data to be less than reliable. I would like to work with you to investigate how to do better. If you don’t mind, please send me an email at ios@theweekendest.com on where you’ve noticed this.
