Best sudoku
I have played the many other sudoku apps but this is by far the best.
Ads on premium version
I bought the premium version NOT to see ADS. Suddenly there are ads at the top of the screen. Breach of contract!!

It does everything you’d want a Sadako app to do.
Good but could be better
The android version is better. In comparison, I find the prominence of the grid lines to be distracting in the iOS version. Please consider changing the look.

Nicht wirklich überzeugend
Seit dem Update auf Version 11 läuft die App recht instabil. Bei fertig gelöstem Puzzle bleibt die Anzeige häufig stehen, ohne auf die Auswertung umzuschalten. Schwerer wiegt für mich aber auch weiterhin, dass der größte Teil der präsentierten Sudokus leider nicht wirklich interessant genug sind. Die hier favorisierten sehr symmetrischen Sudokus entsprechen japanischem Geschmack, sind aber doch recht langweilig. Auch auf der schwersten Stufe braucht die Lösung oft nur knapp 2 Minuten; es könnte gern anspruchsvoller sein. Großer Pluspunkt der App allerdings bleibt nach wie vor das vorbildlich durchdachte, ergonomische Layout. Dafür 3 Sterne.
Nachtrag: Nachdem die App sich aufgehängt hatte und neu aus dem Store geladen werden musste, ist nun der gesamte Verlauf (persönl. Bestzeiten) verschwunden. Das geht leider garnicht und führt zur Abwertung.
Nachtrag 2: Inzwischen wurde mit Version 11.0.5 das Problem behoben, dass gelöste Puzzle nicht ausgewertet wurden. Meine persönlichen Bestzeiten sind wegen schlechter Programmierung der App aber nun einmal verloren und bleiben es.

Not right.
Second table m puzzle will not solv due to conflicting numbers

Hello. Thank you for writing. The only way to get "conflicting numbers" in the puzzle is by you putting them there. The initial condition is never wrong. If you wish for the app to prevent you from entering erroneous values please check the "Flag incorrect values" setting. Also, if you want to check your progress at any point, the Validate option under Menu will check your solution and highlight any errors you may have.

Keep getting that line, and for some reason the puzzles don’t finalize as I complete them.

Request Feature
I have been using this for 4 years now. I miss a feature of coloring notes so that I can find easily matching pairs, sword fish etc in notes. Can you please enable?
Good but difficulty levels are shifting
I’ve been playing this version for years and I noticed that every now and then the difficulty levels shift dramatically. It happened again about two weeks ago. I used to be able to solve extreme level in average of 8 minutes (daily). In the last 2 weeks that level has become unplayable.
Finally paid (again?), but they deserve it!
I’ve played this version for years and moved it - or downloaded again - with every new phone or tablet. I’ve paid before, I’m pretty sure, but under a different email, so... But, I’m doing so again, not because the ads are annoying (honestly, I hardly notice them), but because it’s so inexpensive and more than worth the nominal fee to support the developers.

Good but not hard enough
Interface is very user friendly- 5 stars
Extreme puzzles aren’t so extreme- most of them can be solved using normal logic. Expecting harder ones that can be solved only using the advanced techniques.

No Custom Mode on iPhone!
I found a special Sudoku online that I wanted to play in digital format and my friend has this app on Android and it has a Custom mode where you can input your own puzzles. This is absent from the iPhone version. Waste of money.
Clean interface. Worth it to avoid ads
I used to make do with the free version, but recently ads have been showing up with audio tracks. Given that I have been using this product for years, I too have decided that the developers deserve to be paid and I get peace and quiet.

I’ve tried many different sudoku apps and this has always been my favorite! I finally bought the app, not because I was sick of ads (there are not many) but because after years of deleting every other sudoku app but this one, they deserve the couple dollars they ask for. ‘Digit first’ is what it’s all about. As well as the simple, pretty design that makes the game easy to play and calming. Love!

Thought this was ad free
I thought I had the ad free version until ads for another game starting popping up after a game. The X to close it does not work. I guess I'll delete this game and purchase another. Maybe it will honor ad free

This app is ad-free. However, it's icon looks exactly like the icon for a free version. You probably just ran the free version instead of the paid one, which is why you saw ads. You can simply delete the free version.
Great App with easy playing style and functionality
The highlighting of lines from the active number makes it easy to scan around both directions. With the selected number ‘blueing’ makes it a simple task to check your game and with each number reflecting your status I rate this over paper Sudoku every time. Great to be able to leave a game and come back at any time to continue. Hard to misplace like with books, as well.

Did not replace the free version, no way to import scores
I just downloaded the paid version because I was sick of ads playing sound in the free version even when my phone was on silent. What irritates me is now I have two Sudoku apps on my phone. Why didn’t the paid version replace the free version already on my phone? I also have no way of importing my scores from the free version into the paid version. This seems like a huge oversight by the developer.

They are two different apps. Installing one cannot uninstall the other, but since the paid version does not rely on the free one to function you can uninstall the free one. We are working on switching to upgrading via in-app-purchase, thus you won't be needing to get a new app.
Great Puzzle Game
Well worth the money for the ad-free version. Has all the sudoku features that I need.
