Unreliable Sugar Information
I couldn’t get on with this tracker. There is no barcode scanning for simple lookup. Also there’s no favourites list for you to add your regular food choices for quick access. Though the manual search option has a very impressive library of foods the sugar levels for the foods I selected were incorrect. For example, a 30g serving of strawberry Cheerios according to the nutritional information on the box contains 6g of sugar, but this app claims it has 9g. Similarly a 30g serving of strawberry Nesquik has 6.7g. According to this app it has no sugar at all. This app, considering it has an annual subscription, is unreliable. I cancelled the free trial and will look elsewhere.

Great basic tracker
This is a good basic Sugar Tracker. I know how much free sugar is in foods I eat, I just need an app to keep track of how much I am consuming each day - and this is perfect for that. You can set your own target and see for each day if you are under or over target. I like the little circles on each day that show how you are doing (green if you are within target, red if you have gone over). Apparently you can search your database of foods to find out how much sugar is in them but I have not used this functionality so I don’t know how good it is.
I only have the free version so the functionality is limited, but it does the job. I would really love to see weekly and monthly statistics e.g. average sugar intake over a week or a month. I’d also like to be able to create an account so I can log into the app on multiple devices and have it syncing between those devices so I can record and track my sugar on any of them. I would consider paying a one off fee for the premium version if it offered this functionality.

good app but needs more
really wanted an app for tracking my sugar without counting calories, and this does exactly that. it’s not pushy about paying for the extra functions in the app, which i like. but it would be great if it had charts to see progress over time.

Actually does what it’s supposed to do.
No complaints I just wanted to check my daily sugar intake and this app does exactly that!

Needs work
This app has been pretty much useless to me. Tried it for a day. Conversions and items in the database aren’t accurate and are very limited. Take for example Silk chocolate almond milk. I look for 1/4 of a cup which I put in my coffee in the morning and I can’t find it. I find a 10 ounce glass with sugar amount in grams but that’s of no use to me and it doesn’t convert down to the needed amount and units of measure (gives grams instead of teaspoons). It’s a shame because the app itself is pretty user-friendly. I think with some tweaks and some added information it will do well. I’ll check back to see if they make improvements.
