Blank screens

This app sits on a blank screen whenever I try to add foods or open challenges.

No point to it

This app was not helpful and shouldn’t be charged for it. There’s really no point to having it.

Bad

Wouldn’t let me past the free sign up page unless I accepted it

Subscription

It said there was a 3-day trial version, but the money was charged immediately for a yearly subscription! Disgusting

Not Free

The description says “Sugarfree is completely free to use too” yet there is no way to access any of the app unless you sign up for a subscription. Perhaps it was referring to the three day free trial period. If that is the case then the developer needs to change the deceptive description.

Don’t pay for this!

I paid for pro but the app won’t unlock the features and I am getting zero response from the company. I don’t normally write reviews, but I don’t want this to happen to someone else.

Sounds good so far waiting for results

Приложение не запускается

Открываю приложение, а там только белый экран 😭

Wanted to like it

The database for adding foods and recording side effects is extremely limited. You can’t add different side effects, either. I could only get the scanner to work one time.

So tired of subscriptions

If you wanted a free version - skip this app, it’s only available through monthly payments

Do not but this app!

Absolute waste of money. Please give my money back!

Un timo

Hoy he hecho me subscrito tres dias gratis y me lo han cobrado😃 encima hay muchos bugs, un cero

This app doesn’t take biology seriously.

While filling in your personal info, this app asks if you are Male, Female or “Other.” If this can’t even get basic biological sexuality correct, I wouldn’t trust it with something more complex, such as nutrition.

Food Catalog and Grammar Need Work

The app is good for tracking your sugar intake and the number of days that you’re able to remain sugar free however the food catalog needs some work. It would be nice if the foods you eat regularly were in a category of their own. Also, the grammar and spelling aren’t that great in their daily motivations and explanation of symptoms. It’s pretty obvious that their created by someone who’s primary language is not English.

We’ll see if it’s worth the $27 annual fee. I’m on day 6 of a 60-day sugar detox.

Zero vegan options

This is a terrible app for vegetarians and vegans. Even trying to find veggie patties they put it in by cup. There are zero options under protein that don’t involve animals. On top of that it is extremely hard to navigate. A lot of the goals, overlap each other, and you can’t do one without the other. Would definitely never ever recommend this to anybody who is trying to truly get healthy.

Great idea could use some improvements

It’s really great and it’s worked really well for me, the only issue I have is that literally every item I scan has the wrong information in it I just manually log my sugar to get around this but a feature to let you “edit” the added sugar and calorie content of items you scan would bring this up to 5 stars for me!

Appli incompréhensible

Appli incompréhensible tant il y a des bugd. On ne sait pas où cliquer, je ne suis jamais parvenue à me Check in je n’ai donc eu aucun suivi de ma semaine.

The app needs a little tweaking

I’ve been using the app for three days and my only complaint right now is that I can’t figure out where to change settings. I’d like to change my goal from 5 grams to the WHO recommendation. I had to make that choice before really getting started and obviously chose the wrong one for me. I used the question part of the app and it told me to go to profile/settings. I can’t find either and the in-app ? couldn’t tell me.
That being said, I like being able to track foods, add my own foods to the list, track water and sugar intake, side effects, challenges, etc. If I didn’t like the app, I wouldn’t spend all this time reviewing it for the developers.
I also wish that when adding a food, you could put the total sugar if you don’t know the breakdown between added and natural sugars.

Response from developer

Hello 👋 thanks for the feedback. You can change your goal from 5g by selecting the “Challenges” tab on the bottom then tap the settings “cog” icon at the top right of the screen. Select change limits then sugar limit. Thanks for the feature suggestions we will look into allowing total sugars for your own created foods.
