Fun game but it kind of solves itself
When you click a box to fill it, it shows all the number options you can choose inside that box. The issue is when you have already used that number in the row or column, it takes that number out the box and only shows available numbers. After you solve a few numbers, it pretty much has the puzzle solved for you. I don’t want a hint unless I have trouble solving the puzzle but you get one with every box. There is no way to turn this off. I messaged support to ask if I was just missing a setting and they confirmed it can’t be turned off.
Because you can use as many hints as you need, this function just feels kind of in the way and for no reason. With the 5x5 puzzles when you figure out 1 or 2 boxes, the game gives you the rest of the answers. There is still a good challenge to the 7x7 ones if you can ignore the hints! I’m kind of forcing myself to ignore the hints but then my adhd kicks in and I can’t help but notice, and it just kind of is annoying.
If it weren’t for that this would probably be my favorite number puzzle game! I considered paying for the extra puzzles when I finish the free ones but I just can’t pay for it to just give me the answers.
If this doesn’t bother you then you will find this game fun for sure!!

Hi tb02830 and thanks for your review. It's true that the app doesn't let you set a duplicate number on a square. So when you are near the end of a game, there may not be many numbers to choose from and it might seem like it is leading you to the solution. But by this stage, the puzzle is probably cracked already, so it is just a matter of wrapping up the solution by filling in the blanks. In order to get this far, there will always be some crucial steps that you will need to figure out without the app leading the way. Hope that helps to explain why the app provides the level of automation that it does.
Love it!
Excellent logic game. Clean design.

Honestly great
Best Puzzle Game I’ve Ever Played
I honestly don’t think there’s a single flaw in this game. It’s such a simple idea, that was executed so incredibly well. Easy to learn, hard to master. I like to believe I’m pretty good at this game, and routinely play higher difficulty levels. However, unlike most games, this one always manages to stump me again and again.
I highly recommend anyone who enjoys the free puzzles to purchase the puzzle generator. It’s super customizable, to make it as easy or as hard as you want and you’ll never run out of puzzles to solve.
Shame on you developer for making such an addicting game!! Jokes aside, I wish we had more masterpieces like this.

That's an amazing review, thank you so much Quite The Band Nerd😊
Fun game but please let us clear puzzles without reset all!!
If you can add this feature so we can clear certain puzzles after completing them to try them again, I’d rate 5 stars!!! Part of the fun is seeing if you can improve your scores/times, but having to clear all 4 sets of puzzles when there are maybe 6 I wanted to retry can be a hassle, since the game automatically tries to make me play them in order when using the next puzzle button.

Hi shortnsweet33 and thank you for your review! Pleased to hear you're enjoying the app. You were saying, you would like to see which puzzles have been solved with hints. This is possible by going to the performance analysis, which can be selected from the options menu (tap the icon with three dots in a circle). You can also tap on a solved puzzle to be see the score page for that puzzle. This includes a report of how much the help was used (this feedback can be turned on in the settings, if it is not already being shown). Regarding reset - as you say, it is possible to reset all puzzles in the same pack category, but not individual puzzles. The reason is because it would make it too easy to climb the leaderboard if you could go back and replay a puzzle that you just learned how to solve. UPDATE: Version 1.62.0 includes some improvements in this area: (1) the puzzle packs can now be reset individually; (2) a button has been added to make it easier to skip to the next puzzle in a pack; (3) when a pack is finished, the next puzzle will be selected from the next available pack, instead of starting again from the first pack. More details can be found in the release notes for this version. Thanks again for your helpful feedback, I hope you approve of the changes!

Updated Review
OLD: I would have happily given this game a 5-star review, but they keep deducting points for something I didn’t even do — I do not use help or hints!!! If I make a mistake, let me find it myself; only deduct points if I actually clicked the “?!” button. It’s ridiculously demotivating, especially if I click something by accident. I have purchased all the extra packages — I like the concept of the game and how it makes me think. But come on, I did not use help if I did’t use the “?!” button!!!

Hi O'Vera. Thanks for your feedback. You are quite right - if you do not use the help then there should be no points penalty. I would be happy to look into the scoring issue if you would be so kind as to send a screenshot of the score and help feedback that gets shown after completing a puzzle. You can do this using the contact form at the support site. The support site also has a FAQ page on help and scoring, which gives more insight into how the scoring works. Links to the contact form and the FAQ can be found if you tap the info symbol below the main menu. EDIT: Thanks for updating your review, much appreciated!
