We're sorry for any confusion caused during the installation. Sunroof may be used for free, ad-free, by dismissing the paywall with the "X" button in the upper corner. The free version of Sunroof includes: - Current weather conditions - Weekly weather forecast - 48 hours of hourly weather in the scrolling timeline - Severe weather alerts - Sun and moon events - Current location plus one saved location - Customizable fields including temperature, precipitation, UV, wind, cloud cover, humidity, and more Upgrading to a subscription adds up to 10 days of hourly weather, maps, and up to 25 saved locations – but is not required to use the app.

The app is just beautifully designed. It’s also super useful because of the way that it’s laid out.
Nice approach to weather
Sunroof’s timeline-based approach to weather and upcoming forecasts is nice and is easy to use and understand. I’m looking forward to using it, rain or shine ;-)

Best weather app for figuring out when to go outside
I’ve tried a lot of weather apps and Sunroof is the one I actually use every day. The hourly weather timeline is incredible because it shows what the weather will feel like hour by hour, not just the temperature. It makes it so easy to find the best time to walk the lake, go for a run, sit outside, bike, take the kids to the playground, hike, or plan outdoor activities.
The interface is clean, fast, accurate, and way more useful than the default weather app. I love being able to pinpoint the perfect weather window instead of guessing between rain, wind, humidity, heat index, cloud cover, and air quality. I especially love that I can see when UV is peaking to avoid getting a sunburn.
If you’re looking for a hyperlocal weather forecast app, outdoor planning app, hourly weather tracker, rain prediction app, running weather app, walking weather app, hiking weather app, or just the best weather app for daily life, Sunroof is fantastic. Super intuitive and genuinely helpful.
