The one app I’ll happily pay for.
Okay for one thing this app never crashes or has glitches, etc. Smooth as butter. Very informative and streamlined so it’s easy peasy, while still having a surplus of amenities. I’m telling you, it’s good. Real good.
Buy Lifetime and don't look back!
I hesitated to buy this for a long time. I'm not a photographer, I'm just a hypersensitive autistic nature lover. This app helps me connect so much more: I love receiving notifications every day it makes me feel like I'm in tune with the Earth, in a small respect. The predictions are not perfect, but they are good enough to be very useful. Yesterday, I was agonizing in a bad work meeting: I got a notification telling me the Golden Hour would be 57%, and so made an excuse to go home to bask in it. One of the best micro-decisions I've made! I really love this app, it really improves quality of life. Thank you Andrew! 🫂🙌🏻

Heavily app.
The best of the very best. On a scale of one to ten, my conservative rating would be at least 250. 🎉🎊🥳😍🥰🤟🏼
Upset
I used this app back when they were still using tips. I was under the impression that I would get the pro version for life because that’s how it was marketed. Now I have to pay $24 to get lifetime access again. It seems like a pretty bad way to show appreciation for longtime users.
Highly Recommended to Follow Along Golden Hour
It’s only progressively emerge in my life, that I really *love* being out in the Golden Hour — I feel a special kind of alive. I thought buying the lifetime version of this app was extravagant, and also I admit the heuristic is not always accurate. But I really love the clean, well integrated interface, the live activities. This is such a formidable little helper when you really love Golden Hour. Every day, I have a little notification and it’s helped me spend more time outside. I didn’t expect I would be so happy investing money and time into this app, but I can clearly see that I am. Highly, highly recommended if you’re even thinking about it a bit.

Horribly inaccurate
It is consistently bad at predicting good sunsets. The last one I looked at, it listed 75%. It was totally overcast, pouring rained from 2 hours before to an hour after sunset
Unintuitive
Very hard to save and recall favourite locations
Inaccurate
Would be great if it worked. Said sunrise would be “great” and 75% so I got up super early, saw that it was really humid and foggy outside, decided to go with the app’s prediction anyway and don’t even see the sun because there’s so many clouds. The app must not take into account dew point which is probably the most important gauge?

Cool app.
I love this app. I like to know where the sun will be in the day. This helps me find shady spots.
Response from developer
Thanks so much! I'm delighted Alpenglow helps you track the sun and find the perfect shady spots. Thanks for your support!
Best off
Ciao
Was good but now…
Was once a great app for seeing where the sun was rising/setting. Now it’s a paid feature absolutely rubbish
My Fav App
Love this easy and fun way to watch for potentially great sunrises and sunsets!
Scam
This is a scam. So sad
Awesome App
I never review anything, but this app deserves it. I use it numerous times a day. Even the free version is great.
Amazing
This app is by far the best Sun prediction app I’ve ever used. Hats off to the developer for killing it with this update! As a landscape photographer, this app is as important to me as my tripod. Looking forward to using the new update. 💪🏻🙌🏻

it said good but it not good
Excellent App! But One Issue…
This is one of the best apps for sunrise and sunset for photography for the iPhone and iPad! Love how it factors in all of the aspects of the weather and location! I wish that I could say this for Apple TV 4K. The app loses my location after the recent update. Now all I have is questions of why it’s not factoring in. I don’t get this glitch in Apple TV 4K. Please help!
