Unhappy
The closest place I can get a reading from is 30+ km away and different weather, clouds mountains in between. There is no way to add a specific place - not found.
Therefore readings are inaccurate and unreliable.

This is a start
I appreciate the live UVI readings. Please provide a widget so that the app doesn’t need to be opened every time!
VERY INACCURATE, DON’T USE
App reads 2.5 UV when other sources claim it’s 11. This app is actually a danger to use. At other times it has frequently listed the wrong UV
No widgets in 2026?
This app looks good and trustworthy but I deleted it basically straight away because it has no widget functionality. Hopefully Cancer Council gets with the times and adds this soon - I’m sure they’d see much higher use of this app and less negative reviews if they did. Basic low level functions that don’t match the vast majority of what else is out there just doesn’t really cut it in the age of technology.

Worried by this app
The openness about data sources is very refreshing, but I’m not happy with the way uv data is presented. I’m currently in the south of Gran Canaria, and whilst the UV forecast looks fine, the weather forecast for the days ahead is well off. It turns out the nearest data source being used is for Las Palmas in the North which has a different climate from where I am. The app however gives a forecast supposedly for the exact part of town I’m in. This data inaccuracy about the weather has reduced my confidence in the UV data too.
