Sometimes you need to restart your phone and then it’ll work
W400 Industrial Endoscope Tool
Handy tool for evaluating problems in difficult to reach places. Great for examining inside engine cylinders when you dont want to do a tear down. Image quality is decent except picture and videos are very low res. There needs to be a way to capture high res photos and videos. As is video and pics are useless. If that is fixed this will be a 5 star tool.

Not sure why this gets low reviews. Connected to a USB C iPhone the app just works.
App not stable
As and when the camera is on it delivers great pictures but in my case the app froze repeatedly and then it asked to reset which means unplugging the cable/camera and plug back in. This ritual depends a bit on camera movement but it happened at least every other minute for me. Frustrating

Product connected for ONE second to the app! Spent ten minutes reconnecting to phone, restart app, and moved the cable to see if it’s loose wiring…. Nothing
Chinese Junk
App will not download on iPhone. Lightning connection is out of date; adapter does not recognize device.
Does not work
The camera kept disconnecting after a second of video feed. App tells me to reconnect. I reconnected the camera multiples times and after a while I doesn’t even register it. The camera isn’t broken cause the light is on while it’s connected. Something up with the app
Brilliant device
Works great on iPhone 17 max pro running 26.2, maybe the other review on here about it not working may not have the latest iOS. very easy App to use, intuitive
Totally Plug’n’Play
Opened box, grabbed QR code, downloaded app, opened app, plugged in endoscope. All seems to work entirely as expected – nothing suggestive of anything sinister.

Used to work fine
I bought this about a year ago and it used to work fine. Now when I connect it to any phone. It says connect the camera even though all the lights are working on the camera it does not provide an image. Certainly not worth the money if it only works once.
Stopped showing video
After my last phone update. The camera no longer displays video.
Has no real controls
This product is just a camera that you spend all day trying to correct the image in the right way so you can actually look at something and see what it is and it’s impossible because it’s a stiff shaft to a lens end that will not stay the right way you want!!!
Started then stopped for good
Shame, great idea and worked out of the box but then didn’t work again .
Privacy nightmare
The app needs access to ALL of your photo/video library to download images taken with the microscope camera.
Crashes on iPhone 17 pro
Camera great and good value and worked fine on my
Old iPhone 11 Pro and continues to work fine on my iPad Air. But on the iPhone 17 pro it initiates and shows the camera view for a few seconds before freezing and the only resolution is to restart the app and re plug in the camera. Recording this as a bad review because your app doesn’t even have a means of reporting a problem…
