Super Starship 3 User Reviews

Love it

There is many more planets I would discover.
And my favorite kind of planet is ones that have rings!

Great, but stopped counting

Really enjoying. But some of the statistics stopped incrementing in April of 2025, specifically stars, planets, and habitables. No incentive to play now.

Leaderboard counts not increasing

The counts for stars and planets stopped incrementing in April 2025. The whole point is to collect stars and planets and if the leaderboard counts are not accurate, it doesn’t make sense to play anymore. I am done unless my counts are corrected. It sure was fun while it lasted, though.

Please increase the speed of the ship
Especially in a planets atmosphere

Super Starship 3

Disregard the negative reviews. This game is pretty unique and awesome if you enjoy playing space exploration games. If you enjoy exploring on Elite Dangerous on your PC you will love Super Starship 3 on your mobile. All of the mechanics are very similar.

Travel across the galaxy, explore star systems, land on planets, collect materials and search for anomalies. No combat or threats. Simple exploration for those that enjoy this type of simulation. Travel times between stars and planets along with atmospheric landings make it feel more like realistic simulator than an arcade game.

This game could definitely use a Wiki if someone took the time to publish one. I would also encourage the developer to continue upgrading this because I haven’t seen anything else like it.

Super Starship 3 is one of the better space simulators out there. It should be highlighted on the App Store for those who enjoy these types of casual games.

Seek and you will find

There are multiple opportunities in this fantastic simulation. Re: time to travel; space is vast. Seek Habitable planets and their buildings for credits, Beacons, Pods and the Rare searchable Planets Anomalies for 1M Credits. Found Buildings and Discovered Star Systems will have your Name on them! Missions completed for extra Credits.
This Sim is Definitely Not Boring. Real Planet gravity simulations in planet to Planet travel. Landing and searching for objects are great fun. Enjoy this best Starship travel sim for iPad ever. Even Greater for ‘M’ Class iPad devices. Enjoy!

Fun, but..

The sound of the starship warp drive is the most annoying thing I’ve ever heard in my life. And worse, I can’t find any way to mute the in game sound. So I either have to turn my volume off or deal with it. Not cool. 3/5 stars but could be 5 if the game had a basic settings menu.

Hard game

Very hard to find earth

Fun but….

This game has a few issues I’m having trouble with. The slider for thrust is very faint and hard to see; I can’t get a lock on a starbase to refuel. Every time I find one, the HUD says course laid in, but I’ve passed several without seeing any of them! Also, how do I earn credits so I can build a starbase? And least importantly (but it would still be helpful in finding them again), I’d love a chance to name my systems and planets. Also my ship!

Relax and explore space

Go explore. The flying is interesting and getting used to piloting the craft in and out of planets and among stars is a fun challenge that makes sense. You do get better and more efficient. The planets are pretty unique, and there are always some views and images that might not be perfect, but they're pretty awesome and definitely worth the game play to me. I've played this game for hours. Really helps me unwind and empty my mind at night.

Nice

Finally a game geared towards exploration vice conquering. This game has great potential. Just wish getting from on system to the next was a lot faster and that the ship remained where it at when I logged off. The planet detail is pretty decent. Cant wait to locate a habitable planet.

Slow

Painfully slow….. delete

Watch netflix

Like you should watch netflix on your laptop while exploring just like what space people would do … this game was too scary for me… it got so creepy visiting a red planet with nothing but rocks or desert… it was too immersive and scary for me that I had to delete but I didn’t get to see life forms or habitable planets :(

Too SLOW

This game could really be a 4 or even 5 stars if they made it more compelling simply by increasing the speed of travel. It is grueling to travel to planets and systems. It takes way too long and for a game that's 100% about discovery, you lost my interest as soon as I had to wait and wait to get from point a to point b.

Way way way too slow

The time scale to get to a planet is just way to slow even with engines on full. Taking 15 min to just get somewhere is just way to slow slow with nothing else to do in the mean time but stare at the screen. Installed the app twice in hopes the travel time was fixed or alterable by the end user but had to uninstall it twice because it’s not playable in my universe. Has potential but not there yet.

This game/Sim is Simply Stellar!

I only wish I found it earlier. So sad that True Gems like this don’t get hi-lighted more so!

Anyway, what an amazing game/Sim. I keep checking for a pay option because I just can’t believe this is free!

Flying to and into Solar Systems and the onto Planets… Wow! So cool, especially with iTunes playing appropriate Flight Music in the background!

I love the simplicity of controls too. It’s what many games have lost these days... Simple Fun!

It would be cool to have an external view of your Starship, but again, it’s still quite The Wonder to hop in and explore the Vast Beauty of Space!

Amazing work Sir Bird!

Gets boring

Good game but gets boring REAL fast with not much to do other than fly around looking for ET’s signal which is hit and miss, mostly miss. Then there’s the issue of trying to find that “eerie signal” on the planet which you need to be in the atmosphere then you land and drive FOR EVER following an indicator on your panel waiting for the signal to get stronger and when it does it starts to drop off again. I’m done.
