Not worth it
Highest priced subscriptions I’ve ever seen!! To get the most from the app you’re paying round $122 a month … at very least $22 for basically nothing

I really liked SuperCool, especially its music and video tools, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
I paid $562.46 for an annual Premium plan with approximately 720,000 credits. I had used only about 52,000 credits when my subscription was canceled, even though I never requested cancellation.
Support initially restored my account and credits, and I was extremely grateful. Then my subscription disappeared again. I repeatedly explained that I wanted to keep the annual subscription I had already paid for, not cancel it.
After receiving no response to my latest messages, SuperCool ultimately refunded my $562.46 instead of restoring the annual plan I repeatedly asked to keep.
I appreciate that my money was returned, but that was not the resolution I requested. I genuinely wanted to remain a customer and continue using the service I had purchased.
Unfortunately, after this experience, I no longer feel comfortable relying on the platform for my creative work.

FREE Account no longer FREE
SuperCool started out as a free account. I created many projects and now I cannot access them. It’s not ethical to hold my creations for ransom. I’m seeking class action.

There is no longer a free tier. There is literally nothing. You can click on in the app or online that will take you anywhere except for the upgrade page.
Update: Today they issued an update (August 8, 2026) and removed my review. Not very nice.
Update: Today (August, 15,2026) I checked the app and the online webapp again and the paywall still persists. There is no way around it and I’m not giving them money because I don’t trust them. I’d like to delete my account but there’s also no way to do that without paying to remove the paywall. The paywall blocks access to the account and profile settings, help and support, and security. I emailed support and was told by the AI response bot I must exercise the option from inside the account settings online. I replied that such access is blocked by the paywall and the AI bot replied that my case is being escalated.
Update: August 19, 2026: I’m still trying to get them to delete my account.

Free Tier not Available
I also am annoyed with the immediate pay wall. I could not test it out to see if I want to use a paid version. I could not see a single feature. For all I know, this could be a scam app. Please correct this.

Can’t get past the paywall to explore the app. That’s a red flag, especially since they supposedly give you 50 free credits under the free version.
No more free tier?
There doesn’t seem to be a free tier plan available anymore, even though there is one indicated on the paywall. Literally everything I click on in the menu. Text me to the options to pay. If I click on profile, it takes me to the options to pay. If I click on studio, it takes me to the options to pay. If I click on fee, it takes me to the options to pay. I don’t pay for apps. I will give this a few more weeks to see if I simply need to wait longer for myaccount to reset or credits to reset, but if they don’t, I will delete the app.

Immediate paywall
Why in the hell is there a free tier that shows 0of 50 free credits used when you don’t get to use them? I log in see that and then see that EVERYTHING EVERY FUNCTION including my own profile is behind a paywall? I don’t even know if I like the service how am I going to fork over 8.99 for something could be lackluster or worst yet one of the AI apps that’s been completely neutered like 1/2 the ones available in the App Store. That part could be forgiven if everything else was great buuuuti can’t tell because I never got to use this free tier that is literally listed right away, with an immediate message of upgrade to continue. Yall need a dictionary and some English sentence structure lessons because you can’t continue that which is not started.

Way too expensive!
I bought the mini to try out and compare to ChatGPT. I asked for a few commands to edit two pictures and review a logo design to see it could do better than ChatGPT. The credits were gone. A couple prompts throughout one day. ChatGPT works non stop for me all day for my two businesses and whatever the kids want to ask, or create coloring pages, etc. for $20 a month. I’m going to stay with ChatGPT - SuperCool ai is way too expensive. Maybe for some it’s worth it to spend $1,200+ to have a reasonable amount of credits daily for roughly 26 days or $2,300+ for double the credits to probably do what chatgpt does for $20 a month. Like I said, def not for me.

Credit system
The credit system is atrocious. I don’t mind a company charging for their services, which is their right but before you commit to any task, we have already sucked up all your credits. You really have not done squat or created anything valuable. The resources are great but their credit system is absolutely horrible.

I paid for the PRO $100!! 32,000 credits. I spent 30min loading my story in to the app and they said I went over my credits….they never generated anything for me. I literally paid them to tell them my story. Now I fear they may have STOLE my story!!

Free, then $500
This app was another disappointment… started off free with paid upgrades as needed… credit system made sense & you earned based on your interactions with other users, was a great model… then it has an update, & suddenly goes from being free, to an ENTRY LEVEL PLAN of &100 a month of $500 for a year… its a tremendous smack to the face after using it for a while & establishing myself on the platform… shady techniques maybe… but ultimately a sour milk business plan that seems to just want to spit out its customers… was a great app, but that’s WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT DOES!!! It’s a caffeinated Facebook, that comes with an eventual sticker shock
