I'm injured from overuse of digital devices for both my hobbies and my job. Texting on my iPhone has become unbearable; I have to make a million corrections a day, which ruins my workflow and is injuring my arms even worse. Superwhispers solves this. Thank goodness I don't have to make 10 million corrections. Superwhisper wrote this review, so I don't even have to do one.

Addicted and will never go back
Hands down the absolute best voice to text I've ever used. It's rare when I find an app/product that I'm in love with and this is DEFINITELY one of them.

It keeps getting better
I love this app. It's great to have genuinely good voice dictation while also being able to do it on device so I have privacy. The way it works is by copying the dictated text to the clipboard and then pasting it in. So sometimes that quirk creates problems (if you're talking about something that you're about to paste into a message, you're going to get messed up). But overall, I'm happy I have this app. I feel like it's the best option

C'est vraiment très frustrant, effectivement. J'ai régulièrement des bugs. J'enregistre un message et il n'apparaît ni sous le super whisper, ni à l'endroit du message où je les fais. Ça tourne, ça tourne et puis tout d'un coup ça s'arrête et le message n'est pas pris en compte. Quand c'est un message qu'on a mis du temps à dicter, on a un peu les boules de devoir recommencer, effectivement. Et là, c'est de plus en plus souvent en ce moment. et même je trouve que il y a souvent des petites fautes de transcription même quand j'ai l'impression de parler assez distinctement sinon c'est une appli que j'apprécie puisqu'on peut parler en différents langages choisir la façon dont on veut que le message soit transcrit ou traité jusque là c'était plutôt fonctionnel mais là aujourd'hui je suis d'accord avec d'autres commentaires il ya beaucoup de bugs de transcription qui parfois ne se font pas et je rejoins de nombreux utilisateurs sur le fameux clavier AZERTY qui pousse à devoir à chaque fois rechanger de clavier etc quand on est français

Needs iPad app
I really like the application. The only issue is there’s no native iPad app so the scaling is weird when using it.

AIジャーナリング用に普段使いしてるけど、今朝は録音後processing画面になった後、気づいたらホーム画面になり、historyに何も残っておらず。10分の録音がパーになった。version2.17の問題ですでに改善されたのかもしれないけど、音声さえ残らないのは致命的。これならボイスメモの方法がマシということになる。

Lightweight and easy to use!
I really like it because it provides a very simple interface for voice dictation, and it allows for local recording on the PC, which is something I am particular about. The lifetime license is also a nice touch, which is why I went with Superwhisper over Whisper Flow.

L'application est puissante et les mises à jour récentes montrent une équipe qui pousse le produit loin, sur mobile comme sur desktop.
Sur PC, SuperWhisper couvre 90% de mes saisies, avec des raccourcis avancés déclenchant des automatisations complexes. Le moteur tient ses promesses.
Sur mobile, l'usage tombe à du ponctuel. La cause est unique : le clavier SuperWhisper iOS. Truffé de bugs, au point d'en devenir inutilisable, et c'est encore pire pour les utilisateurs non américains en AZERTY. J'ai signalé ces problèmes il y a plusieurs mois, sans savoir s'ils ont été pris en compte. Cet écart d'usage entre desktop et mobile dit tout : le clavier détruit le potentiel de l'app sur iOS.
Une piste : intégrer des dispositions de clavier internes selon la région et le type (AZERTY notamment). On pourrait alors n'utiliser qu'un seul clavier de saisie, celui de SuperWhisper, au lieu du clavier natif. Dans le même esprit, rendre les emojis optionnels serait utile : le clavier emoji natif reste parfois plus intuitif. Je me limite à deux claviers (saisie + emoji), ce qui garde le globe (en emojis) accessible en bas à gauche et une configuration de saisie plus confortable.
C'est le seul vrai bémol de SuperWhisper aujourd'hui, mais il coûte l'essentiel de l'usage mobile. Le corriger lèverait plusieurs contraintes iOS d'un coup. 2/5 en attendant, avec l'envie sincère de remonter la note.

S’arrête sans raison
Quelle tristesse de n’avoir pas de solution fiable de dictée vocale sur iPhone... Au début cette application semblait très bien fonctionner, mais rapidement des petits bugs apparaissent et je me retrouve trop souvent à devoir réenregistrer le message car régulièrement la dictée s’arrête de fonctionner quelques instants après avoir commencé l’enregistrement. C’est extrêmement frustrant et me faire perdre plus de temps que m’en fait gagner au final.

No free Version-locks after trial
Maybe it’s because they just released v2.17.1 6 hours ago and this is a new issue with it? I spent almost 4 hours trouble shooting and deleting/reinstalling and other attempts at resolving the issue using Claude Opus 4.6 and Perplexity for help to no avail. I continually get the sign up for Pro message and a non-working app after the 15 min trial ends. And I see no way to opt out of the trial at install/setup.

Not good in iPhone
Superwhisper is fantastic on the desktop, it works seamlessly every time. Unfortunately, the phone app is very hit or miss. I use the shortcut correctly and see the red recording indicator, it still frequently fails to capture or output any text after I finish speaking. I love the desktop version and really don't want to switch to a competitor, but I need the phone setup to match the desktop's reliability. Please fix the mobile version!

Solid app
I'm gonna give it five stars. I'm literally writing this review from the same dictation, and it's awesome! I don't have to change anything. I used to be on Whisperflow, but it started regressing a lot and had so many issues. Then I came to this one, and it was so much better. It didn't format my text for no reason—like adding brackets—and it's very accurate. I'm half Indian and have an accent, but it picks up my accent perfectly. Even when I mispronounce something, everything is always perfect. It's also cheaper than the other one I was using, so I'm really happy to convert.

Unreliable
Unreliable as a dictation app, unreliable as a keyboard. I would dictate and then the whole thing would just glitch and not save anything or keep spinning indefinitely. I was expecting better from a paid service.
Good at dictation, not so much typing
The app is great at what it's supposed to do: dictation. However, the keyboard feature leaves a lot to be desired. It's not nearly as accurate, and you can't swipe to type. On top of that, the emoji support doesn't seem to be the latest.
Also, when searching for an emoji, you have to tap just right or you miss the search bar. The tap zones need to be adjusted for the keyboard.
I also dislike the way that holding and pressing on the spacebar moves the caret. You can only go left and right; you can't go up and down like the system keyboard.
But again, the dictation is absolutely spot on.

SuperWhisper is an app I use more and more every single day. If I had to buy it again, I'd buy it a thousand times over. Thank you to the developer for the exceptional quality of his work.

Instable donc inutilisable
Perd régulièrement toutes les notes passées. À ce stade je ne peux pas recommander l’appli suite à de nombreuses pertes de données. Dommage
