My family fell ill
I was fairly excited about using Suqi but was quickly disappointed.
My sister placed an order for some meat and chicken. Once the chicken arrived, it was clear something smelt wrong. It was explained to me on the phone that vacuum sealed bags usually have a gas that evokes this smell.
But the smell clearly came from the chicken. We cooked it and after an initial taste, it was definitely from the chicken. We threw all the chicken we had ordered right after this and it was a complete waste of money (thighs, breasts, drumsticks).
My sister has fallen ill this entire week.
Whilst I understand you are a new company and appreciate the phone call, it’s unacceptable to not have health and safety standards to thoroughly check for these issues beforehand.
I referred several people and was quite vocal about using Suqi. But I will no longer be using them and will not be recommending them anymore.

Incredible fruit and friendly service
As an Iranian living in the UK, it has been hard to find good quality fruit the way I have it back home, but Suqi has really good fruits. I love the Persian dates they sell! The service was friendly and super helpful. I will definitely be ordering more!
